India, the new Australia!
by on Oct 23, 2007 11:50 AM

Not in terms of cricket, obviously, but perhaps in terms of unsportsmanlike conduct. Well done India, not only champs in the Attention Deficit Disorder form of the game, but also in the worst reputation stakes, haha.
Thanks for embarrassing yourselves and your country, it takes the pressure off the Aussies. You managed to do what many thought was impossible- make the Australians look good!
By the way, Sreesanth has been quiet lately- didn't like going for 22 off one over, being hit out of the ground when he tried to bounce Hayden? Worst player on the field? No amount of histrionics can hide that sordid little truth.
See you at Christmas! love and kisses.

a$$hole is using reverse psychology
by pbbabladi@yahoo.com on Oct 23, 2007 11:37 AM

He knows that Oz will not leave gentlemen and when they see agressive go getters such as sreesanth they would wield their mouths. Hence he is making sure by saying in an opposite way. Also look at what McGrath is saying "I am against bowlers saying stuff." What a moron. Usually no matter how bad they were, after the game there is something called being genuine. And this pu$$ey farts louder than steve waugh. He was such a spoilt brat and has the distinction of hearing FO from probably the most biggest gentleman of the game, Sachin. Aussies will definitely give tough time but Oz also has to face one thing. Last time ponting said "Oz are giving a farewell to Waugh and its bad news for India." And we screwed $h!t out of him. And this time round about he says in his country whether we can maintain the intensity. I wish we do the same like Pakis did to hair and we did to mike denness if they come up with unfair punishment. Oz cricket needs India and without us, they are as good as dead. Let us see how much of foot comes out of their a$$. cOZ Thats what happens when you shove it too deep in the mouth. Pardon my english if there are any syntax errors.

More Cry from Ponting
by TandooriRasamKadhi rosgula on Oct 23, 2007 12:44 AM  | Hide replies

"I'd like to see the Australian fans and public treat the Indian team the same way they would any other team,"

"I don't think they [the Indian team] should be treated any differently because of what's happened over there,"

Based on such comments from Ponting, he is very much indicating the Team India and Indians in the crowd to get ready for a massive abuse.

The last team visited Aussieland, were South African and they were utterlu unhappy with the abuse offered by Aussie Crowd. Lets see what happens next..

BTW, Ponting has really made a big deal out of nothing really. I understand Symond was called Monkey, but I am sure it wasn't a racism. We have Siddi (Black) living for centuries, not too far from Vadodara.

Signaling them?

Is he signaling the fans indirectly to attack Indians?

It's funny how the worst offenders ever like Australians talking about racism when they are the masters of it.

lol..I was actully thinking in the same line Satish.

BTW, after going through few comments here below, it seem this board was occupied by Aussies.. LMAO!!

I bet most of these bloggers live overseas. And seatting in comfornt of nice flowering yards and cozy atmosphere, it's very easy to citicized India as country and point every little thing being wrong in India. If one dare to convert the cricketing discussion board to the Anti India trashing, why not share atleast one solid move to make India better..

One of these guys even brought up his ridiculous interpretation of Mahabharata in the comments here below.

well i am not sitting here all day to write replys, but

a) because crowd in Vadodra did nothing to complaint about.

b) there is no cause to protest, evenif they did ICC can do nothing about it. (if you don't know India protested agaigst Aleem Dhar in England and he was sent to here too)
C) they all do, that is rule/ manners
d) Because the make a lot of MONEY... Apply Commonsense

I am not condoning all of the behaviour of Punter.

1) If you dont like Aussie attitude give it in kind without getting racial to the likes of haydens, gilchrists etc.,
2) Dont get emotional when aussie players mentally abuse indian players - it is for them to sort it out.

But the better thing will be to proud of how much money india contributes to the cricket economy and be extra gracious in accepting when the other team plays well.
=> Definitely route for your team but if the other team plays well applaud them too.

Finally what is the point in going to English grounds and supporting "india zindabad" in hindi all the time thereby making people/spectators question whether they are playing in India.

Have fun and View it as a sport played by professionals. It is healthy for the heart and mental growth too. But I guess the indian cricketers wont like it one bit.

1). We haven't been Racial to Aussie atall. I understand Symond was called Monkey, but I am sure it wasn't a racism. We have Siddi (Black) living for centuries, not too far from Vadodara. Have you ever heard of anything against them. The Aussie's ego was hurt and now Ponting is blowing it out of proportion.

2). If your advising that to the Crowd then let me tell you the crowd behaves the same all around the world. I think you live in US and you know what the Pro Sport Players go through in US. These US professional sportmen get trained to get thick skinned and ignore the crowd. If you want a proof, just check the RedSox fan thrasing Indians in yesterday's game. Crowd is emotional in every part of the world..

Nothing wrong supporting Team India in English Ground, if you're Indian fan.. Their barmy Army goes around the world to support their team..

feel free to correct my English and Grammer..

Poting the Culprit
by Paul on Oct 22, 2007 09:12 PM  | Hide replies

He (Ponting) went to Press and give media a big coverage that Simons being treated like monkey. I don't think any indian would racially abuse others because we have all kind of players in our side. Powar and Agarker like two worlds

I think Ponting wanted to bring some attention and spies up the series, like what happend in England. Not just winning and going home, bored.

So now he and his team get some attention by the media, as racal abuse will get lots of attendtion

I haven't seen anybody abusing West indies players on this forum. In matter of fact, Lara and Samuel said publicly how much they enjoy comming to India and always looking forward going to India.

People are simply stating the fact on this forum and seem tired of Ponting's actics. Chill!!!

I and likely others would not understand 1)

2) is missing "are"

It simply takes the fun and meaning out of your writing based on one dimensional thinking.
Rest are all typos. Use a typechecker.

Afterall we get sensitive when people mis-spell our names....

It's same around the world. People want what they don't have and that's in Human nature. I have lived in many countries over the year and all the whites are wanting to have browner skin. I remember it was a big deal in late 80's of taking extensive Sun tan and buring the skin to Brown color. But the reserach indicated the significance of Cancer Risk from Sun UV, and people moved away a bit from sun tanning..

Some Indian opting for fairer skin doesn't make India and all the Indians racist..

The rest of the comments from Bhsmashur are very much his personal opinion with out much substance. The economy is Zambia, Tanzania are controlled by Indians. The point is people will go wherever they see a better oppertunity. Believe me or not but I met large group of Indian recently moved to Mexico and doing outstandingly well for themselve. Mexico in general is notch lower then India..

Your comments are very much leaning towards proving Aussie are the best and India is a Trash. What a shame..

If you take a look at the aborigines of Australia with that of India like adivasis, Scheduled Tribes, tribes like sentalese etc., there are a lot in common. Indians cover their mediocrity by crying sledging

Indians cover their mediocrity by crying sledging. What a wonderful distraction! People have forgotten we lost the Future Cup and the ODI series against England in all this nonsense about sledging. Even Kumar Sangakara sledges. Pakistan would drag Islam into their sledging. Andre Nel of SA does it often. However since we have to confuse people over our losses, we cry sledging! Brilliant!
