Sad day for Indian Cricket
by flighteddelivery on Oct 17, 2007 04:44 PM

It is indeed a very sad for cricket in India. It is almot impossible to comprehend that India can afford to drop Dravid from the team. Ther is something very definitely wrong in our mindset.

If such a thing happened in Australia the otherv ten players would have covered him, made good for his lack of form.

STEVE WAUGH AND PONTING HAVE SAME DISEASE OF MENTAL GAME
by cebujonas on Oct 17, 2007 12:32 PM  | Hide replies

Steve Waugh said Brett Lee is the world's fastest when Waqar and Shoaib emerged from Pak just to kill that spirit for his benefit in future...Also he said Justin Langer is the world's No.1 Bat while Tendulkar and Lara were ruling the world...I dont know if Langer would be remembered out side Australia in a couple of years...Then Waugh and Ponting just blankly said McGrath knows how to scalp Tendulkar...Tendulkar believed it and failed many times even after butchering Mcgrath in lot of matches...

Where were Ponting when India thrashed AUS at T20 ?

After the failure they said T20 is not serious affain, Had they won what would have been the comment...

India defeated them many times, and still India is the only team constantly looking to conquer them . Understanding this Chapell spoiled our team way before 2007 WI World Cup...

Still AUS are worried on a ONE-ON-ONE tussle Vs india without sledging and verbal abuse...

dont make stupid comments man..if a batsmans contribution didnt result in victory that means others in the team are the reason for the teams loss- not the batsman who played well. Dont write any such crap in future and make fool of yourself

sachin is still the best he alredy made more then 1100 runs in 10 months this year. he is the highest scorer in last 4 series ( A.Land., S.A., England, & Now with austrelia ) all these teams are best teams in world cricket. so it prooves that sachin is still the best in indian cricket

IF he is best why he insists on opening can't bat at no 4 or any place like dravid he opened inngings scored enough runs to improve his record and ranking and made sure team will not win match already pp started criticising dhoni's capticy
sachin will be playing for self and it will continue till dhoni made next bakra and sachin gets captinacy

Suman suman suman...dont make such naive comments..may be the answer to your question to mahendra sharma lies in the answer to the below question:
Why Dhoni does wicket-keeping?Why cant he bowl a few overs himself?
Answer: THATS BECAUSE HE IS SPECIALIST IN THAT PARTICULAR AREA. got that? hope i helped you understand a bit more of cricket today.

naah, even though suman's made a naive comment. his point stands. tendulkar hasnt been dropped from the squad, he's the number one brand in india. cricket currently is ruled by money and star power. ganguly and dravid have been dropped. tendulkar had plenty of patches of bad fom. just that bcci dint have the b-all-s to drop him.

yes dirty poitics sachin scored enough runs and even ponting was surprised that he was not on the field in last match sachin was ok to bat first 20overs he scored enough runs his ranking and record improved and team lost series why he will play now? ppl will blame selectors for dropping him and he will get pubicity
team ind should get rid of selfish opening pair
