and that india is at 7th spot on ICC rankings after playing 42 onedayers the HIGHEST by any one LOL sachin like Lara is a record breaker a personal glory maker! i bet it in 3 years from now he will be a god and some where there will eb a temple of him where people will be bwoing in front of his statue!
1. Australia with a strong batting line up batted well to score 317 against below par Indian bowling and fielding.
2. India nearly reached that total against top quality bowling and feilding.
3. In conclusion Australia scored 317 against poor bowling and India nearly scored that against good disciplined bowling therefore over all India played better and nearly won!!
Dravid on current form is unfit to bat even at No.11. His confidence is at its lowest ebb. It's reflected even in his fielding. He deserves a break now. I do not undermine his contribution to Indian cricket. But on current form, he doesn't deserve to be in the team. The team can not afford any more failures at that crucial position, especially when we play with 5 bowlers. Let us see what a Rohit Sharma / Dinesh Karthik / S. Badrinath can do at that position.

ask superstars to bat at any no in every match then see the performance dravid is unfito what is role of ganguly zahir harbajan and yuvi for the team defeat what kind of great play/inngis these player played ganguly scores runs for safe for sefl his innings never helps team when team requres his service he will give catiching practice and get out he wil cause more runs to team by his poor fielding and poor running bw wkt he was survived for 2 yrs as non performing captain b'cuz of dalmiya if dravid . dravid anchored his success for captaiancy but he ditched dravid after his comeback ganguly dithed sachin to gain captiancy and he backstabbed dalmiay ganguly is cancer to team ind but nobody speaks agianst him b'cuz he has got infuence of poiticians.why not ganguly and great tendulkar sit out and make opening for gambir and robin? harbajan, zahir yuvraj are always busy doing chela's job see how the auss opening pair performig and it dravid has to go then gnaguly tendulkar zahir and bjji shoud also be dropped

I think india played very well and its on the way to become world champions. Its just that the things have to fall in place for them and work together as a team to execute the plan for the match. Loosing this match might have caused india to loose the series but I certainly see weeknesses in australian team and they can be beaten if executed properly. I think india has that ability now to beat australians. Australia just won by a minor difference which doest tell much about loosing to them narrowly. Just that they need to concentrate on the match and improve the running between the wickets more like the Aussies do. We can beat australia. If you beat them once then that proves they can be beatable anytime.
when shall we indians stop worshiping the cricketers? cricket is played in only a few countries. our players win some of the matches with them and we / our governments spend crores of ruppees on them. they also get crores of rupees from advertisements. bcoz advertisers know that we r crazy about cricket. we indians finance the world cricket.
if instead of wasting money on cricket, same amount of money is used for the welfare of players of other games, then they will also prosper. we should b ashamed that we ahrdly get any medals in olympics.
players from other games do not get enough funds even to get trained properly, or get good sports equipment. whereas the cricketers r given 5 star treatment. though some of the more greedy amongst them may b sometimes even involved in match fixing to get more money.
Symonds made runs just like any other player and he is putting in that racism incident to effect. That is their trick. They want us to think like that. The reason is symonds just batted and ended up making century. Indians especially tendulkar and ganguly are always worried of personal milestones and never get 100 and waste balls. This is true for the start of the time they are playing. Steve Waugh has 2 centuries and one of them is the best ever you will see. Teamwork is important. I think Dhoni is smart enough without being told about the teamwork. When Dhoni captained India I thought things have changed but we are back to square one. Thanks to politics: announcing crores of rupees to players when 75% of the nation cannot manage to get 1 lakh per annum (just a guess not sure may be little less or more). In India, everything is showed off. Indian youngsters were playing for their country in 20-20 without anybody following them. Now they became famous they are dragged into media and kept under pressure. Plus they have to deal with stupid australians who think they are the greats. They are not. Nobody is a champion in world cricket it is just mental. Only steve waugh's men (still present in their team) is making the difference thats all. I have more to say and keep on saying until somebody takes action and start regrouping. We are the best talent available in the world but consider others like chappell to coach our team how riduculous. We should have one all the games.

People who have even a little bit of brain in his head will never say such athign. You men that captain has no job to read the pitch and make the right call on the toss. He has no role to play in setting fields and making bowling changes. Nothing to do with the batting order in accordance with the situation. No role to play for enthusing players or devising strategy. Nothing to do with the press and the media. 11 players can never make a team unless there is a good person as a captain. They would be a bunch of scattered individuals all going their own respective ways. Before uttering non senses, just think altough most people have forgotten to think now a days. They are all guided by reports and comments and their old ideas.
