Indian players must undergo training as to how the Aussies have to be handled during their tour there. We know and they too have made it clear it is going to be hot for them there. There is no point cribbing later. Must go prepared. The best way is to mentally get tough. Tell the players we do not worry even if you lose but do not fear & return word for word.
think we are trying to get into something which does not fit our culture. Ganugly was aggresive but he never hurled abuses. he is to play mind games like keeping Waugh waiting for the toss, ignoring Naseer Hussain in the WC toss. If you remeber he did the toss won it and told Shastri that he is going to bat never told Naseer. thats mind game. Which rattled the opposition. Sometimes light hearted banter. Abusing and gesturing does not suits us. By doing this we spoil our game. I think Sri should be told about this. Ganguly is the man who can tell him this. Yesterday Pathan was arguing with Symonds while batting he cooled him down.
Aussies are obviously not purist. They hurl slangs and abuses. But its their culture. We cannot imitate that. So lets not do which we cannot do and Ian chappel should oil his own machine and not others. One chappel was enough for us now we dont need you

This is exactly what we have to do...I think India should appoint Ganguly as a Mind Game captian once he retires.Today if we look back, we were after Ganguly's head when he was a captain and was not a successful batsmen. But seeing Sachin and Dravid fail as caption, I strongly feel, India lost Ganguly's services as a captain.H e could have continued atleast for 3 years as a captain. Anyways that is past and now I think he should guide youngsters as to how to play mind games with opponents, especially with Aussies.Whatever anybody might say, I still feel, yougsters are now going in the right path in being aggressive. With time, we will be professionals in that and we can do it in a more polished way. This is just a begining of new era in Indian cricket.
In the meantime, lets not loose the winning habit and limit this defeat only for this series.

Australians are the sledging gurus in the cricket....This is the first time they felt the heat of being sledged by other cricketing nation....I agree they are good in batting and bowling but not good cricketers.

Well said Alex. Let sledging gurus should play only cricket. They are here to play cricket and not to sledge indian team. Mind you BLOODY Australians, PLAY CRICKET AND GET OUT OF INDIA. If we started to sledge, your Australian continent will run away from the world map.
UNFORTUNATE, this is the state of INDIANS. I used to be very active on rediff message boards, these days I hardly read any of them because of comments of these colors.
I am surprised how people work in a true professional multi cultures company with different people with this kinda attitude.
Most people on this forum loo keach and every thrught the NARROW eyes of religion, caste, region. Wondering how they are mixing with people from different countries.

We should not take it seriously what this Ian Chappell is saying. Now he is suggestinh us I think instead of Sreesanth he should give the same suggestion to his Austrailian Team. When they got the right treatment from us they are crying we can see that. We should not worry about Sreesanth since we all know that Sreesanth is belonging from which culture and he can not be Akhtar it is sure. Now they are feeling the heat if this trend will be started to happen then what will happen to Ausis Team?? Believe me now they have started to confusing our board.
It is my personal thinking that we should behave in a aggressive manner to handle this ausis team because they are invited to do that. Common guys we are with you. No one can do anything of Sreesanth , we all love him.

I would like the young generation of today to play like the Aussie and behave like the Indians on the field. But is it that hard an act to follow? i don't think so. I wouldnot like my son to behave like the Aussie do on the field while playing. More often than not the Aussies go way over to bend the rules of the games to their benefit and when they are given the same kind of medicine in the recent series from India they went cribbing to the ICC. Gilichrist said he won't encourage his son to do that even in his backyard. Very true Mr Gilchrist, but I would like to know what kind of education have you got from your father for the in field spats that you (AUS) always seem to be a part of? And now about the Indian crowd behaving badly. I,personally, didn't like that at all. Proper action should be taken in that case,but a few years ago the Aus crowd called Murlitharan a chucker. What action were taken in that case? I don't think any at all. So clearly the same yard stick is not being followed here for everyone in this game. When we see that in the game of CRICKET the we might see everyone playing by the book.

most of the messages are racial including yours.Sreesanth is from Kerala and people abuse the entire keralites. Bhaji is from North and people abusing N indias ? This is not justified.They are all playing for the COUNRY not for particular state.
Which state/religion a player belongs to doesnt matter. If educated (I would like to think so) internet users do not understand indulge in this kinda activities online, how can we blame illiterate people involved in rioting etc.
