hypocritical
by on Oct 18, 2007 06:28 PM

Everyone here seems to be ignoring the basic point that the supposed monkey is NOT GORA - having roots in West-Indies... how many of you have heard of non-white Australians racially abusing Indians?

Go make monkey noises at the rest of the Australian team...

It is totally hypocritical to pretend that this incidence is tit-for-tat for Australia as a whole rather than racism against a guy with a dark skin. I can very well imagine that the same yobos who insult Yusuf Khan, use the same words to insult Andrew Symonds. Must we do the same?

Monkeys, apes on strike.
by ruggedricky on Oct 14, 2007 06:16 PM

Being compared to Symmonds as Symmonds said he was called a monkey, the apes, orangutans, bonobos, chimps, gorillas, langurs rhesus all monkeys are on a strike, preparing for a revolution.

The only reason "if symmonds said was true, how dare symmonds can be compared to us, we're better than him in all ways. don't you people do that"

Aussies Deserve This.......
by rajesh t on Oct 13, 2007 03:55 PM  | Hide replies

I dont know how they cry about these things when they are on the recieving end.I would like Ponting and the rest of these arrogant Aussies to check their memories when the crowds in Australia booed, made racial comments and called chucker when Srilanka's Murali toured the country under Ranatunga.Although I am not a supporter of racial comments I feel,THESE AUSSIES DESERVE THIS RACIAL ABUSE.I would also suggest the crowds in the comming venues repeat this .......THEY ONLY LEARN WHEN YOU GIVE EM BACK........

Toughies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by Piyush on Oct 13, 2007 03:08 PM  | Hide replies

I am surprised. Australians are supposed to be tough nuts and they are the agressors. Remember how they taunted Murali and he is not sure whether he wants to go over there this year. Toughies are cribbing and complaining about everyone to everything. Sreesanth to spectators. Ponting and co. remove that yellow streak and fight or come to truce with Indians and may be they will agree to play gentlemens game. Obviously, the Indians have gone under their skins...

Fans at smaller centres in India are worse than animals!!
by Bhasmasur on Oct 13, 2007 03:11 AM  | Hide replies

These fans are not fans; they are worse than animals in their behaviour!! Mob is a better way to describe them!!
Illiterate unemployed louts who borrow money from friends to watch matches at stadii!!

Whether it is Nagpur, cuttack, Jodhpur or Vijaywada or Vadodara, these smaller centres should be banned and those fans who abused symonds need to be bashed up by the police!!
It is the image of our country that takes a beating cos of such loutish sc*ums!!

Yes i am an indian fan and yes i do take cricket very passionatly. First of all tell me something...is it fair that we racially abuse anyone? I know the Aussies do it a lot ...but hell we are not Aussies...Indians are soo much more refined that those good for nothings...secondly we don't have the right to abuse them since our team is detereorating day after day....anyway please don't be racist...abuse... but not racially!

I think "we are so much more refined than those good for nothings" is completely unjustified.

I am an Australian Indian, have lived here all my life. In realiaty I am more ashamed to be indian than Australian.

When u go to india the whole culture seems to put you off...people are trying to rip u off for minor gains, its a vey unpolluted contry no one cares about the environment...the pundits are corrupt then again the whole societly appeaers to be corrupt.....and worst of all the people in general are very rude...

Any comments would be appreaciated...

yeah you have lived among the descendents of criminal SOBs for too long. Try living in india for next few years, you will learn the meaning of decency and culture. You get back as much as you deserve. Are you trying to tell me that australians will give indian team a royal treatment when they will visit. Reserve your comments until all your SOB friends in australia will utter the r word. If you bother about pollution and corruption then why bother visit india. Iam sure no one cries here.

you are one of those people with a major inferiority complex. I'm sure you've worked hard on your Aussie accent.
I am surprised you did not mention that the maulvis are corrupt too. Every society has corrupt people. If India took over Australia and raped the country for two hundred years then left, after splitting it into say two different parts, for catholics and protestants, leaving the country impoverished, then wouldn't they be corrupt ? poverty breeds corruption. Corruption in India is on the wane. Ever time I go back things have improved.
As for people in India being rude thats bullshit. Indians are the most friendly people in the world.

Great reply Yusuf. And most people forget that Australia is a country of convicts and criminals who were deported from England and sent to Australia to live with the Aborigines and Kangaroos. No wonder they are so abusive, vulgar, and gross in their behaviour. Ofcourse there are plenty of bootlickers from India and the subcontinent who still love to lick the droppings of the white man, irrespective of the fat whether the fellow is a goon or buffoon. I am glad Bhavik Shankar has quit India ... and since he left, India has progressed in all fronts. This joker should know that even Lakshmi Mittal still retains an Indian passport.

The Aussies are cry babies and pretenders and very much unlike the West Indians who play the game for the fun of it.

Me too, I have still retained my Indian passport. my advice to most people wanting to come to Australia is that if you have a good job in India don't come. India has far better opportunities at the moment. Australians are generally not racist country but you will have some very humiliating experiences.

on a recent radio show about Haneef one of the callers, a typical Aussie said that both India and pakistan were terrorist countries. Whereas Pakistan was doing something about it, India was still supporting terrorists. Thats how dumb they are. It made me so angry.

well after reading some of the comments i am quite shocked...i mean i honestly have nothing against Aussies...I mean I lived Melbourne for 10 years.. and i have some Aussie friends ...seriously like i went for a match in the MCG in 2004 and some comments passed by the Australian supporters were so very racist ... i actually had to swich seats cause i couldn't listen anymore!.....hell who am i to complain....Indians are quite racist as well....but seriously please...no one has any rights to say anything about another race! i am aware that the indians rip off foreigners....next time all matches should be held in cities like Bombay and not in small towns where the people are worse than animals!...The only reason they do this is because they haven't seen much of the world

Samir,

It's because of people like you racism is still active, alive, and kicking! How do you look Samir? Fair? Hunk? Hand Some? You are shameless in your stupid argument (defiance). It's clearly a racial abuse! In fact, many Indians are bloody racists in the name of color, caste, nationality and what not!! Accept the fact & make corrective actions!

How is that racial abuse.Nobody calls Lara or Chris Gayle a monkey and they are of the same race as Symonds. There is nothing racist about it.
people in Australia have called me Curry Muncher, Apoo from the simsons, Black C*nt. Go watch a game in an Australian ground and you will learn what is real racial abuse.
