sreesanth way to go man
by Amarpreet Dhaliwal on Oct 08, 2007 06:46 AM

Whatever Sreesanth does must be seen in the context of what the Aussies have been doing all these years. Now that it is being done to them, they can%u2019t say that if others must be aggressive, please be aggressive in a way that we can deal with. That%u2019s like saying please prepare hard bouncy wickets when we come to India, not spinning tracks because we can%u2019t cope with spinners. But just as each side has the right to decide what sort of wickets to prepare, each side also has the right to choose its own form of verbal aggression and attack. Ian Botham once held his wrists aloft and together to indicate handcuffs. The idea was to tell the Aussies they were all convicts. The Aussie media went wild with rage.
If the Indian team and Sreesanth have chosen their form of aggression, India should support them, not endorse calls to drop Sreesanth saying he is %u201Cover the top%u201D and so on. Isn%u2019t mother-sister-wife abuse over the top? Why are the stump mikes muted? Why can%u2019t we hear what the Aussies say? As he took guard once, Rodney Marsh asked Ian Botham: %u201CSo how%u2019s your wife and my kids?%u201D Ian Healy once told Arjuna Ranatunga, who asked for a runner: %u201CYou don%u2019t get a runner for being an overweight, unfit, fat c**t.%u201D
Should Sreesanth be punished merely because he makes faces, which is all pretty much what he does? Has he ever been accused of abusing the batsman? From all accounts, he is a very nice fellow, except when,he has to

What manu said is correct. The australians are the descendants of convicts.

They have had sledging problems and controversies with the english, south africans, west indians, kiwis, pakistanis and especially the sri lankans and the zimbabweans.

They create problems where ever they go.

And this is why the rest of the cricketing world hates them.

The white australians are racist and committed genocide against the aborginals who are the original owners of australia.

Hundreds of thousands of aborginals were slaughtered by them and their women raped and children killed.

Even now they continue their racist attitudes towards aborginals and keep trying to destroy their culture and heritage , deny them education and health care and resources for their betterment.

The average life expectancy of the australian aborginals is in the forties while that of the white australian is around the seventies.

This in itself shows the racism prevalent in australian society.

Australia , which belonged to the native australian aborginals , was colonised by the Britishers , who slaughtered the aborginals indulging in mass murder and rapine.

Anthropologist Walter Roth asserted in 'The Bulletin' in 1880 about the situation in Queensland thus:
The blacks have been murdered by thousands ... there is ... wholesale massacre of human beings; a relentless violation of women. [I have] seen the brain of an infant dashed out against a tree after another had been murdered. This is not fiction but the statement of one who, not three years ago, saw in Queensland scrub the sunburned corpses of men and women and children who had been murdered by officers of 'justice' and left for the crows.

Much of the aborginals were exterminated by the British and driven from their lands. At the time of first European contact, it is estimated that a minimum of 315,000 and as many as 1 million people lived in Australia.
By the early 20th century the indigenous population had declined to between 50,000 and 90,000.

Even now the aborginals are poverty stricken, uneducated, and most of them are in prison, with very low life expectancy compared to the whites.

Aborginal music is world famous, and the Indian enlightened master Sri Sri Ravi Shankar , during a visit to Australia was deeply touched to the heart by their music.

Aborginal art and paintings are also thousands of years old and famous too.

Humiliated and oppressed in their own land, it is time the world

Manu Bhai,
You seem to have tested the blood samples of all the Aussies. Anyway, being an Indian currently working in Australia, I can tell you that it is nothing like what you are potraying it to be. Fact is Australia is a very welcomming society as of date - irrespective of what it was a couple of centuries back and how it was formed etc.
Comming back to aggession and all, Aussies are no doubt an aggressive unit - they sledge a hell lot, play all the mind games and do everything to upset the opposition - but at the end of the day, they WIN and that is the most important thing.
Unfortunately, the Indian team is on equilibrium with the Aussies in terms of the aggresive behaviour on the field, but sadly, no results - they are no where in terms of the WINs. Yes, we have won Twenty20 World Cup, but, does that mean we blabber about it for eternity with no results comming our way - Ain't that sound stupid ?
Tell you what, a couple of wins and then let us have all the off-field aggressive behaviour.
Right now, Let us forget about the Aussies and they blood lineage, we Indians are showing poorly and it is going to cost us with an improper image about our lineage !!!!

Mr bhupinder kumar,
You have shown character that you are a racist person by commenting on south indians, because of you being north indian, I cannot assume that all north indians are racist, in the same way dont assume all south indians as cowards, the sublime people you talk about are mostly brahmins, who are actually aryans as per the aryan theory, but being sublime does not mean you are coward, it takes heart to believe in ahimsa, War profits no one, only animals still believe in fight, If you want to know the bravery of south indians, read about the tamil kings who fought the british bravely before bhagat singh, and the king raja raja cholan who moved ebough granite to built pyramid of giza and waged battles in sea to conquer sumatra and then the ganges, see the world`s most dreaded terrorist organisation LTTE is of the tamils, where men die smiling, read it in bbc, every human is racist to other living being be it a human or animals, only the ones who have gained some intelligence no war is of no consequence.

That is what all losers say about Australia and they keep winning! Bringing up the past will make no difference to the present. If we iterrospected the reasons behind our meek sbmission to Australia we may perhaps find a way to get past them. However raking up their ancestors is doing no favour to us.

Im not going to argue if you are right or wrong, but my question is how does this explain our abject submission to Australia in cricket.

If India feels that Australia committe genocide should BCCI not make a political stance not to play against any country that practices racism, like SA was cut off for more than 20 years.

We enjoy having Australia in India and touring Australia. So lets not have double standards. We thought we could win against the Oz, now that we are losing we are raking up the past as if that will explain why we lost.

The Indians clearly lacked time to prepare for the one-day series against australia. --Just 2 days.

And that too they were emotionally exhausted by the strenuous world cup win ( in fact they have been playing non-stop cricket since the bangladesh tour ).

They did not have even time to visit their families and to even savour their victory and then you are expecting them to defeat the best team in the world physically, mentally, emotionally exhausted without any preparation whatsoever!!!!

The australians on the other hand, smarting from their defeat to India in the world cup, prepared like hell for the one-day series.

The series started with the australians having a tremondous advantage over the Indians , and hence their wins over us.

Seems like you have decided to drop the genocide topic, eh?!

By the way, how many excuses?

India had the edge, we had the momentum, we had beaten Australia just a few days ago. We are playing at home. So, I can also argue that the advantage was with India and we gifted it to Aus.

As for just 2 days of practice, it was the T20 team that chose the open-bus ride instead of practice. So, they deserve it now!

Also, India went into the T20 tournament with just a two day break and managed to win...then they never complained. Now, when they lose, all the excuses pour out.

Please do not try to justify the performance of our team. Its time to accept that they are a bunch of sub-standard atheletes being badly exposed by a great team.

They can be doing anything on and off the field, it is irrelavant to discuss about their blood lineage.
Bottomline remains that they are best team in the world. All the teams you have mentioned above were defeated hands down in their own backyard - and that is what matters.
And let us not talk bloodlineage and all that crap - it is in real poor taste.
Going by your statement, whenever there is a crime, not only the convict, but his entire family and lineage have to be blamed - sounds like a sick thought to me.

Indian team shud think beyond imagination............

Indian team shud think beyond imagination............

My ODI in 4th ODI:

Option 1:

Sachin
Sourav
Dhoni
Yuvraj
dravid
uthappa
R.sharma
I.pathan
M.karthik / Sreesanth / RP.singh
Harbajan
Z.khan

the reason why I brought Uthappa in middle order is he can chase the total well.... and in 35th overs...new ball is being taken...at that moment its better..a opener play that new ball.

the option 1 is better if Batting First

Option 2:

Uthappa
Sourav
Dhoni
Yuvraj
Sachin
Dravid
R.sharma
I.pathan
M.karthik / RP.singh / Sreesanth
Harbajan
Z.khan

the option 2 is better if chasing the total

the reason to bring Sachin and Dravid at 5th and 6th is that.....young player will play better cricket and Aggressive cricket keeping in mind that Seniors are there ahead to take care if anything wrong happens.
