indian wks do not have the courage to stay too close to stumps. Indian players also have communication problems a wk-bowler combination have to communicate very well to trap batsmen into stumpings and caught behinds. Another reason is that not many indian wk have stuck for a long time. Kirmani is the only one I can remember who had a long stint that too with great spinners. I wonder why he did not make it to the top 10.

Almost all the Wicket Keepers finding place above have kept wickets mostly against Fast bowlders or swing bowlers. Whereas, Indian bowlers are either top class spinners or just medium pace bowlers. Hence, our bowlers do no induce much of caught behind dismissals. Probably, if you analyze only stumping dismissals, Indians may be ahead. Even for that, Shane Warne induced stumpings would compete.

Indian players are good for nothing... but they are best in showing aggression and altercations...

One loss and see the type of comments that come out. Dude, may be you should look at the highest runs in ODI or even Test matches may be? You will realize that Indian players are good for something at least?

With the exception of Kirmani we havent had a wicket keeper with long careers like the others on this list. Aslo note Bari was the only Asian player on this list - he had a long career and Pakistan had good fast bowlers through his time. Also, in Kirmani's days - our spinners were getting most wickets - we probably have a record of most dismissals (or at least highest percentage of dismissals) of opposition batsmen caught at short-leg or silly-point.
