It is really a great effort on the part of Dravid to have won so many matches with the media against, players within and outside against him, very little support from selectors etc. He is considered the best by any standards what so ever because of his staunch outright transparent mentality. Ask Imran, Nasser Hussein, Ian Chappell, Steve waugh you will know the answer but still he was made to quit and I thought God helps those who help themselves. It has happened to Seshan to Abdul Kalam and not surprisingly to Dravid.

statistics and perfromance speaks for dravid that he is best batsman, classy test captain and most successful odi captain.only ind media and some ex cricketers paid marketing agents of ganguly were doing dravid bashing from day one onwards b'cuz gnaguly was out of team and dravid appointed as captain. what dravid achieved in less 2yrs with limited resources and against odds like bcci politics and never got support of chief selector and some superstar players IS REALLY APPLAUDABLE. TODAY HE HONOURED WIHT SACHIN IN CASTROL CRICKET CEROMONY even ani kumble was suppossed to get hounoured for his contribtuion to team and achievement. anil kumble is another example for media apathy.

After India's thrashing, all are asking for players like agarkar, yusuf to be picked. But no one has written about bringing in Sehwag who was our matchwinner for almost 5 years and Kumble ( He was dropped, not retired ). If ageing cows like Sachin, ganguly and Dravid are picked y cant Kumble, who is as fit as a tiger now, be picked. Bring these 2 and c the difference

perfectly said. It must be declared that hereafter sachin, ganguly and dravid will not be chosen for one dayers. Let us see whether the selectors have the guts to say so.
Some misconceptions are deliberately spread out here by the anti Bong anti Chinese anti Communist brothers of my wife. a) Bengalis are not at all that bad which you want to prove knowing fully well their contributions in all field b) Chinas development is phenomemal. with out ganguly india cant win third match also.in england he didn't played well in 4 matches.that 4 matches india lost.when he is not played india cant finish 50 over as well india cant go 200 more runs.

I THINK WE NEED A GOOD & PROFESSIONAL FOR OUR TEAM INDIA WITHIN COUNTRY OR FORIEGN WHAT IS YOUR REACTION GUYS.
The greatest blunder the selectors did was to recall Sourab at the behest of Bengal politicians. If they had refrained from that probanly we could have seen a much younger team comming up whether you win or lose. The team under Dravid did exceptionally well without the other two seniors at the beginning but after recall the same spirit was not there as you could see again after the 20-20 and into this 50-50

Brits promoting too much of T20 in the country and we are following on the same trap 'coz we are the most craziest cricket crowd in the world to be fooled with! Wasting ages and generations of time into this dirty (time killer) game!
Let say 'BYE BYE' to at least 'Test' cricket until we can breath more cricket with shorter version for some time? We must look into all aspects of sports and games not only live and die for cricket like czar. In Brits nobody like this crazy game though people are extremely athletic into various forms of sports and game productively.

T20 is promotional game of cricket!!!
The world sees that the sporting era for 'cricket' is drowning, thus to make it up to the speed there comes T20 and was absolutely a promotional game, just by winning T20 if we think we are world champions we can realize what was wrong in real day cricket with world?
Finally I see the great Australian team tasting some of their own medicine, and clearly not liking it! I am an ardent english fan, but admired aussie determination on the cricket field always. But it feels strange to see the Aussies squirm around in a little hot & spicy curry..! You guys have certainly got them out of their couches and walkng aorund..y don't u make them run a bit..then chase them a bit?
