aussies will trash india ,yuvraj or no yuv rj
Now we can hope Murali Kartik won't get much chance in the 2nd inings to show his batting talent.Yuvraj and sehwag are in fine form.According to me both ( yuvi & sehwag ) have to select for the australian series.if kartik fails once again on the australian pitches we have to go with sehwag only.If anybody in the middle order fails then give chance to yuvi only.
I don't think Karthick is playing well in the past few months (in both ODIs and Tests).
Solution is Simple. Rahul is the wall and sure he can open the innings as coming in second over or first over won't make a big difference. By that way , our batting line up can look rocking rocking with 7 solid batsmen , 2 specilist spinners , 2 specialist seamers and Ganguly doing the role of parttime seamer.
W Jaffer R Dravid S Tendulkar S Ganguly Laxman Yuvraj MS Dhoni Kumble Harbajan / M Karthick Sreesanth / RP Singh Zaheer Khan
India should ask for an exception in the Australia series to have 12 players. This way, we have have a chance to draw the series. Perhaps, our argument can be like this. We are trying to have reservation for all the backward classes, OBCs, and the leke. Since the entire Australian team consists of Forward Classes ((in our view, since there are no aborigines in the team (I do not know about Symonds)), Australia should allow us to have 12 actual players, and a 13th man....

Dont be soo depreciating... Among all teams in the world We have won more test matches againsts aussies in the past few years... We batted really well last time and this time to we can win... I dont know why this castism talk is needlessless bought here... Cant u leave this kind of fetind and useless thinking and move forward!!!!
guys, remember that its not such a bad thing to have competition for places. Nobody knows when people get injured (look at Sree, RP etc. even if they are only fast-bowlers). 1. You blood Yuvi and drop one of the seniors, and somebody gets injured, what do you do? 2. You blood Yuvi, and make him open (I shudder) and drop Karthik, its such injustice on Yuvi, a middle-order bat! We did that with VVSL and it was a disaster.
I'd say just bid your time and openings will pop up sooner than later...may be in the middle-order.
Asking one batsman to retire etc. while currently making runs, just 'cause there's someone younger playing well (Badri, Yuvi) must be thought thro fully.
And, last: People will get injured; people will go out of form; the better teams manage through those roadbumps, the lesser teams get derailed by those!

You're asking the unthinkable. Why should dad go through all the sacrifice? He is already opening in ODIs!
Yuvi should come for a middle order batsman. If he improves his bowling skills, then he has more chances.Dada playing well on bouncy tracts is remote. He can continue in ODI's.Yuvaraj will be an asset because of his fielding skills.Kartik needs a break so that he goes to the nets and basics to look into the flaws as he is being dismissed in identical fashion. He should hone his skills before sealing a more permanent place as an opener, down under.Veeru thru his attacking batting would be better so that he can rattle up the speedsters.Take one more regular opener for that tour.
