Suggestion for Coach
by Crick fan on Dec 01, 2007 05:14 AM  | Hide replies

Please make Mandira Bedi coach for our cricket Team. She is very experienced and knows the game well. I am sure all the players will be motivated and listen to her. Forget Gary think of Mandira.

'Indians don't like to be told what to do'
'South Africans never like to tell something which someone doesn't like.'
What we can do now is to just wait and see what happens!

by ajay singh on Nov 29, 2007 09:28 PM

it seems good for indian cricket. kirsten was very good test and oneday batsman. he played like wall of india rahul dravid. and one more thing one should accept ones mistake in 1996 india was not developed like today. we should think about cricket only. he can coach well indian cricket team.

Gavaskar again?
by MS on Nov 29, 2007 09:16 PM  | Hide replies

Was he not the guy who was instrumental in getting Greg Chappell? Looks like for the slave minded Indians, only a white guy is qualified for the job.

Why should BCCI always succumb to the recommendations of Gavaskar and Shastri in selecting the coach? Both of them are mean minded fellows. They are not willing to take the responsibility of coaching the Indian team and are not allowing other deserving Indian players like Amarnath and Srikanth to coach our team.Infact India was doing well under Anshuman Gaekwad when he was the coach.Gavaskar and Shastri went ga-ga over Greg when he was appointed and we all know what happened after that.

Yes I agree with you. Why these fellows stay there in the decision making body for a long time? They are known for their greed. Exactly, they brought Greg. Why they are still there? Very sorry!

Your completely right my Brother? when will we come out of that slave mentality. Was ravi shastri is not good for the job ? Some people donot like that a Indian should shine in this job ... Thats it.. it is the crab mentality of we the indians....

Ask Gavaskar and Shastri to sit in corner and then think of a coach.
Patil, Amarnath, Srikant, Madan Lal, are all good candidates for Coach.
