Good post raja, Its pretty much like an anti-establishment wave helping the opposition during elections. People love ICL because they hate BCCI's intentions & actions. Even if this diktat proposal in its current form gets implemented by BCCI, ICL still emerges a true winner in cricket fans' mind-turf. It would be quite interesting to see ICL's reaction to such measures if at all happens. Can someone write a post on how ICL can work out a strategy against BCCI ?
If Lalit Modi was convicted of drug possession in the USA back in 1985, why is this guy being respected to help run Cricket India (BCCI)? Ban him first!
Cricket is a game of fun and entertainment. It does not really matter who is providing it. Why is an established organization so worried about the newbie. It certainly is worried about the fact that, it might be drawn into dark. There is so much talent out there, and only a few are getting an oppurtunity to represent. i would like to post some my comments over this article: 1. BCCI is an independent organisation in India so that ICL. So no body deserves rights to Ban on their opposite number. Its like 2 political parties. secondly cricket is just an entertainment game & we here to see those stuffs which the cricketers r giving thru various events / boards. 2.in india, almost 35-40% population likes to play n watch cricket though am not a statistician so every talented person in india wants to play cricket in any one of ther form so ICL is giving chance to such kind of players who wants their talents to be known to some part of the world. as a cricket loving fan, we should encourage ICL as like that of BCCI.
