IPL and all the hoopla BCCI has created was a result of competition and money. BCCI should allow a parrallel cricketing event and let the people choose their own venue. This is common in the U.S.A. We have National League and American League, and what stops India to have two parrallel leagues with open competitions. BCCI is naive and selfish, as simple as that.
They appointed 'G'reg chappel and he screwed up the team. They appointed 'G'raham Ford and he choked them big time. Now they are interested in 'G'ary Kirsten.
May be If he fails then they might look for 'G'ream gooch 'G'ream Hick 'G'ary Sobers etc.
Not sure what is eating BCCI and its team with 'G' factor.

The screw up was started by Saurav Ganguly in 2004. Thankfully he was thrown out of the team. Have you forgotten that John Wright pleaded up with Dalmiya to kick out Ganguly? What did Ganguly do? Kick his buddy and partner Dalmiya to get Pawar's favor. Good one

Ask Saurav and Dravid how to run between the wickets!!!! Coaching is not only about teaching....it is also about organzing practice sessions, planning, strategizing etc. Players will be busy with their own preparations for various matches, meeting endorsement obligations etc. We are in 2007. Coaches are integral part of a team.

good idea. he can lure the ausies to underplay and we can win the matches. looks like this is the only way we can beat aussies. make azhar the coach. money is not a problem for BCCI
