Is there any one who can play straight drive like him?
Is there any one other than warne, murali, macgill who can spin the ball like him? Not even saqlain and kaneria. Not even vettori.
Is there any one who uses bat much weighter than him?
Is there any one on whome millions of peoples expectations are there?

Tendulkar is the best.
Is there any one who has given more pleasure to people in batting?

Bradman never missed a Tendulkar innings in the last five years.
by Ritwik Bhuyan on Nov 27, 2007 05:42 PM

Sir Donald Bradman was first impressed by Sachin Tendulkar while watching a one-day game against Australia in the 1996 World Cup and never missed a chance to see an innings from the Indian maestro after that, the book 'Bradman's Best' reveals.

"Australia won (that match) but not before a stunning 90 from Tendulkar that captured the Don's attention," the book, which chronicles each of the 12 members of the 'Dream Team' selected by Bradman, says in the chapter 'The Star of India'.

The book, authored by Roland Perry which has seen just half a day in the shops, has already become a best-seller with a strong response reported from buyers.

"He was most taken in by Tendulkar's technique, compactness and his shot production and had asked his wife to have a look at the Indian as he felt that Tendulkar played like he had. Jessie agreed that they appeared similar.

"Bradman never missed a chance to see Tendulkar from then until the end of the 1999 three-match Test series in Australia," the book says.

"Bradman ranked Brian Lara and Tendulkar as the best batsmen in the world and found it difficult to judge who was better. He thought that Tendulkar had a very sound defence while Lara was marginally more aggressive and took more risks.

"By 2000, he held the view that they were the best in world cricket, but that Tendulkar just pipped Lara as the world's number one," it says.

Real stars r those who can do even unimaginable.Sangakkara's 192 against Australia was something special and performances like these can only be counted as greatest ones.If there wasn't a bad decision from umpire he would probably led his team into victory. But Sachin never was able to do such a great performance.

Test cricket is the true test of a batsman's ability. Who cares Tendulkar haven't scored an ODI hundred in Australia. His highest ODI score in Australia is 93.

Hey... are you paid by someone to criticize sachin. I say that because you seem to argue meaninglessly against sachin on every comment on this page.

Sachin will break all records
by Shweta Saigal on Nov 27, 2007 03:44 PM  | Hide replies

Yes he will break all batting records
No of centuries
No of fifties
Total Runs
But in each category he will be hold the record for the shortest period of time. Pointing is right after him. I'd bet on Pointing getting the final honours.

Ya . Ponting may have the final honours in test cricket. But in one day cricket there is no body who can match up to sachin.

yeah ponting ..... my foot.... mate i live in aus and i've seen ponting bat.... his technique is no way near sachin and moreover... it isnt about records.... the pressure under which sachin plays if ponting can play with those many expectations and play well for as long as sachin has..... moreover ponting plays in a team full of champs.... where sachin plays with ppl no way near his class... there is no comparision... ponting has not even got half the talent sachin has..... its crazy to compare these two... its like comparing a albert einstein to my science teacher in school.......

True fans will follow the game even in their busiest times.

I think you must change ASAP and get a job because you seem to be frustrated of not having a job or may be not having a satisfying job, or may be you are one of those acting and useless employees who does nothing other than wasting their employer's bandwidth.

Stop reading these articles and our comments and you will do a great favour to yourself.
