misbah is a good player ..but at the same time he is cunning like a fox . he always tries to achieve results in nefarious means ,,in 20-20 match ..he had tried to hit the ball over sreesanth ..but failed ..and recently in the first test ..he tried to come between feilder and wickets to avoid feilder throwing ball into wickets ..but feilder is too smart and he threw the ball staright into wickets ..as long as misbah tries these things he will fail to deliver good results
the guy is 33 he is no hussy the most he can play is another 2 plus years pak has to look for new young guy who can deliver for another 10 15 years like akaram waqar saeed inzy did
wen a new batsmen gets out cheaply, then it is understandable..but wen a settled batsmen like dhoni gets out in this way, its not ok...though he had done half his job, wen he steps down, he has to smack the ball hard but the way he came out of the crease, he looks like planning to nudge the ball for a single...even lakshmans sedate innings was of no use..we need to be at our aggressive best if we need to conquer down under...the aussies always maintains a run rate of 4 per over in test matches...
Blaming Dhoni for giving away his wicket in the first innings is not fair.He is a naturally agressive player and can succeed only when he is in a positive frame of mind.Same is the case of Sehwag who was not afraid to go for a huge six to complete his triple century.Let all players play their natural game.Dhoni cannot play like Dravid.Expect him to do a "Gilchrist".
Dont you guys think that it's too early to compare Inzy & Misbah! Definitely the way Misbah is playing in all the matches this season is awesome (Keep Ind-Pak Rivalry aside) however I would say Guys stop writing these flaunting words too early, these are enf to divert a true talent to glamor hunger! Long Live Cricket!

I think Jaffer's dropped catch will continue to haunt India, as Pakistan will go 1 up after Delhi test. Indian first innings was pathetic, the way Dravid, Ganguly, Karthik were dismissed is really bad. Laxman and Ganguly made a match of it, else India wud have been in greater trouble.

Laxman tried very hard to save first innings but the tail just cud not wag. Both Harbhajan and Zaheer Khan were out foolishly. Munaf is a wasted talent, he shud be dropped. He is good only for Bharuch local club cricket.

actually i am pretty unhappy with the way laxman batted.. going by mere statistics he didnt even play one third of the balls bowled today just 30 deliveries .. a top order batsmen should have tried to shield the tail and must have faced atleast half the deliveries.. he must learn from a steve waugh or a lara how to play with the tail..

Very correct, Anandh.I was looking for this observation, but noone saw this point. Laxman is one of the worst no. 6 batsman. If he is to play, he must be at no. 3 or 4, otherwise, he is not useful. I have seen atleast 6 matches recently, where he had to bat with the tail and he takes a single on the 1st ball, and lets the tail face the other 5 balls.
