To All Accusers of Regionalism
by Ramelton Pandya on Nov 22, 2007 01:24 AM

If you want to talk about regionalism, then come to Mumbai ( where both Vengy and Sachin come from and so does Rohit Sharma) and then stand at Churchgate station. If you have eyes and can count, count how many Marathis are there. Let me tell you, there are only about 17 out of 100 left in Mumbai now. I am not complaining at all. Just pointing out to idiots like you.

Now, come on, tell me similar stas for any other city in Inida.. It would be 83 locals out of 100. I am sorry if I have underestimated the number.

Enough is enough. Anyone who talks about regionalism about Mumbaikars, does not deserve to wash their mouth even with donkey shit.

All of you who think like that, just go ahead and call all your relatives back from Mumbai. We Mumbaikars do not care for sure if they think like you too. If not they are all always welcome, just like last 60 years.

Why is this so.....
by Ramzy here on Nov 21, 2007 07:01 PM

Guys....can any one of you tell me y Sewag is still considered for the team. He himself knows that 'ab cricket uske bas ki baat nahin hai', but the idiots like Sastri, Srikanth, Vengi are expecting him. We have players like Badrinath, Kaif, M Tiwary and many more better than Sewag.

Last but not the least is Sewag better than Rahul Dravid?

Cricket is a political party in India
by prabhakaran natesan on Nov 20, 2007 09:31 PM  | Hide replies

I am sitting in China and sending this. Here no one plays cricket. There are vast vacant lands available to play cricket. Roads are very wide and even the lanes and bylanes are well laid. But no one has any idea of playing cricket. Then how will they become WORLD CHAMPIONS???
These people are worried about how many gold medals they will win in the coming Olympics. Wether they will come first or second in the overall medal tally and so on. Fools, if this is their mind set, they will never become a Twenty20 or a 50-50 world champion.

If a world cup is instituted for play inside play and talikng about cricket, Indians stand very good chance to win gold medals in Olympics!

C'mon Prabhakaran, the guys who are in the team including Sachin are there because of regionalism and Nepotism. How do you think Veng'Sucker' played for such a long time in Indian cricket when there were better players like T E Srinivasan & V.Sivaramakrishnan. Now Vada-Pav for Veng-'Sucker' it is pay back time thus all Rohit Sharma's are playing instead of Badrinaths.

Honestly, and I mean it what makes you think Sachin is in the team coz of Regionalism? He's overcome every obstacle and it's people like you don't understand the game of cricket try to defend players who are from their particular region. Let's leave Sachin out of this, he's too great a player to be even talked about in such a blatant manner.

Also, I wouldn't mind a Rohit Sharma in the team who's contributing and is not playing like say a Sehwag.

Sachin became a great player after he was blooded in the team at the age of 14 which no one in India will have the privilege of. He got in at a very young age because of nepotism, regionalism... etc...
