well said! Suresh shastri is horrible... he is so consistent in giving decisions against india. In general india always gets more decisions agains them than in favour. Don't forget yusuf was plumb in front in yuvi's bowling, don't know why it was not given out? Even the commentators kept quiet except Arunlal.

i thought i was the only one that had spotted this!!against australia, just to prove he's not biased..he gave michael clarke not out to a lbw claim from pathan..we subsequently lost! even the match at mohali..different umpire though..remember the 3 lbw appeals by pathan in an over?? well, yousuf was out twice!!
ps.have u ever wondered why the proud pakistani..(why would u be proud?) rameez raja is so biased..he moans abt decisions against the pakistanis but never mentions the decisions that have gone their way!! average cricketer and average commentator..do u agree??

Yes! Agree fully...Shastri and infact Ameesh also have had huge role in deciding the margin of the last 2 oneday series we had played. Time for neutral umpires in ODIs also, I guess!!! I cannot forget the number of times Yusuf WAS PLUMB!!! Fellow never gave it...some kind of complex I guess, he wants to appear fair to the world. He was very very quick in giving Gambhir out...but if it had been Salman Butt, I am sure he would have said not out!!! He deserves a nice-tight-slap.

This Shastri guy should be kicked out before he does more damage.Despite of Yuvi explaining to him that ball brushed his shoulders he gave him out. What a MORAN.

Mr Mahendra Prabhu you have gone mad. What are the points which made you to consider Sehwag,Rohit sharma and Praveen Kumar to add in your team.Whereas people like Raina and Badrinath who are scoring tons of Run every time they are getting a chance.Raina and Badrinath are in much better form then sehwag and Rohit Sharma.

Hello Mr. Raina is utter waste. He cant be aggresive at any time. He cant even hit the six.
But Sehwag has the ability to hit long six. I havent seen him(Badrinath) playing. Dont consider their ability through Domestic cricket. International cricket is completely different from that. In domestic cricket bowlers can always bowl at mere 110 to 130kmph speed. But in international bowlers like Bret Lee can bowl at more than 155kmph. So they are waste for playing international cricket. They cant even stay in the middle for one over.

RE:Best Indian XI
by K Chandru on Nov 19, 2007 05:01 PM
Let L.Balaji first play a domestic match to prove his match fitness for 3 or 4 consecutive days. He's under a rehabilitation programme. It'll take sometime for him to get back to international arena. He's already 26 years old and may not find his old touch. He would have corrected his bowling action under the advice of experts to prevent any recurrence of the back injury again. It's really tough to think him again making an impact at international level. Let's all pray for his 100% recovery from the injury and to come back strongly.

Who can ever forget his innocent smile? he, with Pathan looked like serving the nation for many years to come. Alas! it was not to be...
