I normally do not comment on rediff 'cos of the sheer mediocrity of peoples' postings... but i could not resist myself after reading your comments.
1) If you are a good statistician, go and check how many times has Sachin won a match for us!! He started his career at 16 and is still playing... How old are u and how many people know you in this world?
2) Sachin might be a useless selfish player for you, but for millions, he has been a source of inspiration. Are you not selfish? What have you done for your country, society till now? (Apart from posting stupid comments)
3) Who are you? A Mr. India? I am sure, if you stood in your Mr. Mohalla contest alone, you will not win.. Go and drown yourself... and please leave Sachin alone..

Warne was NOT such a great bowler against India
by Chola The Greatest in the Universe on Nov 17, 2007 07:26 PM  | Hide replies

Warne was a TOTAL & MASSIVE failure against India and he carefully avoided playing against India as much as possible in his early days. All his wickets were mostly against useless Englishmen, average Kiwis, hopeless SA (they wanted to ban Kumble during thier Indian trip) & some sundry Sri Lankans etc...He would have been finished had Indian batsmen of Gavaskar era played him more often!!! He must thank his stars!!!

Changed line of thinking to conquer the Aussies
by WLL DELS on Nov 17, 2007 05:08 PM

All teams are struggling in front of Aussies is due to following facts
(1)All the teams presently have Aussie coach who is following /Practising Aussie approach to cricket .To conquer Aussies we must follow other school of thought which is not Aussie. See what Fletcher coach of England has done by beating in Ashes Series but lost later due to casual approach of Captain & players.
(2)By providing individual counselling to all players to tackle sledging and on believing on themselves.
(3) Taking help from senior successful retired players.
(4)Bringing feeling of "UNITY " amongst all players
(5)Minimising distraction from Australian nightclub visiting by players.
(6)Encouraging players to take their family on tour
(2)

one thing is sure that aussies have a strong will power and they give 100 % to their cricket. one should not blame either aussies or lankans but see the intense fight between two best spiritted teams in the world. it will be good contest to watch when India play.

True gaurav. Wish our guys learn to give 100%. For that they need to be physically fit ..and our guys are not. It seems to me that our guys turn their backs to fitness regime and practise during the off season/days ..In the last ODI series against australia ..i happened to watch a match in the stadium and you shd see the number of times the big '3' went out of the field to cool their heels in dressing room.
