ANOTHER RECORD OF SORTS....
by Underground Underworld on Nov 17, 2007 10:12 AM

HE HAS ALL THE RECORDS IN HIS KITTY.

THIS IS ANOTHER WORLD RECORD - THE HIGHEST SCORES IN THE 90'S.

AND TO DO IT CONSISTANTLY, 7 TIMES IN A ROW, IS A GREAT ACHIEVEMENT. THAT'S WHY SCHUMI, THE RETIRED FORMULA1 WORLD CHAMPION IS HIS GREAT FRIEND, LOL! HE HAS 5 WINS IN A ROW. AND TWO LOSSES IN A ROW, BEFORE HE RETIRED.

OUR OWN SACHIN WILL KEEP ON PLAYING FOR A YEAR MORE AND HAVE MANY MORE RECORDS TO SHOW, AND IT WILL TAKE YEARS FOR OTHERS TO BREAK THEM.

AS FAR AS CENTURIES, THE CLOSEST GUY FOR NOW - IS RICKY PONTING, BUT IT WILL TAKE HIM A LONG TIME. AND THERE IS HUSSEY, AND IT WILL TAKE HIM MUCH MUCH MORE TIME TO COME NEAR SACHIN'S RECORDS.

TENDULKAR IS THE ALL ROUND CHAMPION OF THE SPORT AND IT WILL TAKE A LONG TIME FOR THE OTHER CRICKETERS TO COME NEAR HIM.

1000 RUNS TO THE CHAMPION - YET ANOTHER YEAR!!!!!!!!!
by Underground Underworld on Nov 17, 2007 03:50 AM

IRRESPECTIVE OF HIS STRING OF 90'S, HE IS THE ONLY ONE TO HAVE 1000 RUNS..

IN FACT, THE OL' MAESTRO IS WAY WAY AHEAD OF EVERYONE, AND IS THE ONLY ONE TO HAVE ANOTHER 1000 IN THIS CALENDER YEAR.

SHAME ON ALL DETRACTORS WHO HAVE WRITTEN HIM OFF. WITH HIS BABY WRY SMILE, HE JUST PLAYS WITH HIS HEAVY BAT, AND SHOWS THE WORLD THAT HE IS STILL THE LEGEND, THE MAESTRO.

ALL THOSE WHO ASK FOR HIM TO BE DROPPED SHOULD HAVE THEIR OWN HEADS CHOPPED OFF.

TENDULKAR CONTINUES TO BE THE BEST PLAYER IN THE INDIAN TEAM, AND ONE OF THE BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD.

WHO ARE THESE SMALL FRIES WHO WRITE ON THIS MESSAGE BOARD ABOUT HIS INABILITY; THAT HE SHOULD RETIRE; AND SO MUCH CRITICISM, WHEN THE CHAMPION PLAYERS, PAST AND CURRENT - RATE HIM AS ONE OF THE BEST PLAYERS OF THE GAME, OF ALL TIME, INCLUDING SIR DON BRADMAN?

ALSO, THE PLAYERS OF SO MANY COUNTRIES CURRENTL REGARD HIM AS THE BEST PLAYER IN THE CIRCUIT.

MAN, THIS GUY GAVE NIGHTMARES TO SHANE WARNE, AND WARNIE WAS HONEST TO TELL ABOUT IT.

SHAME - ON OUR INDIANS WHO CANNOT DISTINGUISH THE LEFT HAND BETWIX THE RIGHT HAND,
AND TO ALL THOSE WHO POST HERE, WHO DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.

REMEMBER - INDIA'S FORTUNES IN THE LAST MANY YEARS HAS CENTERED AROUND THE MAESTRO.

THE PUBLIC MEMORY IS SO SHORT, THAT IF HE SCORES 6 IN THE NEXT MATCH, THEY WILL FORGET THAT HE HAS 6 SCORES IN THE 90'S IN RECENT TIME. IT IS ANOTHER THING THAT THEY ARE NOT HUNDREDS...

HE STILL REMAINS THE GREAT HERO TO MILLIONS ABROAD!!!

Sachin has no replacement

There were a lot of questions raised by mere mortals like Sanjay Manjrekar and so on when there was a slight slump in form - DUE to INJURIES to sachin . Dravid and Chappel too played their best to pull him down not realising that HE is no mortal like them - Sachin is POETRY in Cricket and will remain as the most beautiful thing to watch in cricket during this generation. He making 50 or Hundred doesnt make him any lesser than a GOD who carried the aspirations of a whole generation of Indians on his shoulders for 18 years Boy! He is the GOD of Cricket and even gods are not left by idiots who measure every thing in their terms Play on Sachin for just the delight of watching you play People will flock to cricket fields

You hit the bulls eye Jay. 18 Years is a very long time to play with the level of intensity and consistency. And sachin did that. He gave us so much joy. Who can forget his match winning century against kenya in the world cup right after his father's death. Who can forget his masterful innings against Australia at Sharjah in 1998 which single handedly won the cup for us, who can forget the words of Ajit wadekar when he said " In the age of match fixing", I am confident as long as sachin is at the crease. This is a testimony of his genius. When everyone wrote him down and shouting from the roof tops for his retirement, he answered all with his bat doing the talking. He is still a boy we all love and hero to emulate.

Vintage Sachin
by samavedam sivarao on Nov 16, 2007 05:40 PM  | Hide replies

When people make a mockery of Sachin's batting, I honestly laugh at them. First of all, why should he retire when he is playing so well. He is the top run getter for India this year in one days and scoring 50 plus in every alternate innings. Yurvaj who is now at his peak is second best which speaks volumes about sachin's contributions. Let us sit back and enjoy his vintage stuff. He is once in a century cricketer. Name one cricketer who can perform better in the opening slot and then replace him, then talk about his retirement. Till then, let us shut up and enjoy the genius in him. Just because we have freedom to speak and write let us not write any crap to grab attention. We will be making fools out of ourselves if we do that.Yesterday's innings was a treat to the eyes and millions all over the world still adore Tendulkar. We Indian's are too critical on him as if we own him. Let us give him his own space to relax and play as long as he can.

SAMAVEDAM, WELL SAID.

INDIANS WILL BURN EFFIGIES AND HOUSES, IF A PLAYER FAILS ONCE. THIS IS THE MENTALITY HERE.

ABROAD, HE IS A HERO AND THE KING OF CRICKET!!!

(just that our people are petty minded OR there is too much of cataract here.)

Sachin at his best again

Dear friends, i think Sachin is following comments of the Rediff.com very closely. I think he gave befitting answer to all those who commented on his place in the Indian team, including all of you. If he continue to play like this we will watch him in the Next World Cup,and i bet we will.

I think he planned to score 90s only, expect him to make 42 90 scores.

You are absolutely right. Sachin is so fond of records that he must have thought he should create a new record of scoring 90's, since no one on earth is likely to overtake his tally of 41 centuries in ODIs. The only players nearest to him in terms of number of centuries, still playing and theoretically capable of reaching 41 centuries appear to be Ponting and Kallis (one is not sure of the likes of Kevin Pietersen and Michael Clarke to make those many centuries), but even these two are atleast 12 or more centuries short of the record of Sachin. It is doubtful if they can aim to reach his tally.

the truth behind 90's galore
by abinash nayak on Nov 16, 2007 03:05 PM  | Hide replies

Well I and my frens were discussing yesterday's match and one of them came with a very plausible but a bit illogical theory: Sachin's Playing days were over after 2007 world cup but he didn't want to quit..... so what to do ....... He prayed and prayed to God to extend his playing days..... Finally god agreed..... but he put up one condition...... He told Sachin " You can play as long as you want..... maybe till next WC.....but...... no more centuries for you. What you lose in centuries you'll gain in longetivity of your career" Alas what cud he do.... Sachin accepted....... Now he can hit 90's at will like he used to hit hundred's at will but no more centuries.

all of us had a big laugh on this ...... but imagine if this was true :) he'll be hitting 90's galore but no more centuries for the Master Blaster ;0)

ABINASH, THE JOKE IS NOT SO FUNNY. YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS NEED TO GO ON A HIGH, GET SOME DOPE, OR DUNK YOUR HEAD IN SOME BEER BARREL, OR BUY SOME COKE AND NEEDLE YOURSELF.

OR IF YOU ARE TEENAGERS (WHICH APPEARS SO), THE RIGHT THING FOR YOU IS - BUY SOME 'RED BULL' ENERGY DRINK (IF YOU CAN AFFORD THE RS. 75/-).

THEN YOU WILL COME UP WITH SOMETHING BETTER THEN THE JOKE YOU GUYS ROLLED ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING OUT LOUD.

AT THE MOST YOU HAVE PLAYED WITH YOUR PINT BAT, AND MINI BALLS. THAT'S YOUR LEVEL OF CRICKET, BOYS!
