This statistics will tell you who is good and bad. I agree with you all that Dravid had a bad series after a good series in England, With two duck but tell me how many duck he has in his whole career. Like sidhu said don%u2019t forget our national heroes.
What really bothers is naming him as a one dimensional player. Please tell me. 1. One who is more selfless than him? 2. One who can play in any position based on the situation of the match. 3. One player of his caliber doing wicket keeping extra job to help his country to win world cup. 4. One who can take captaincy when lots of bad issues let out after ganguly captaincy? 5. Who else can give us more overseas victories both as a captain and player against good teams in the world?
If Sachin is a great player then Dravid is a wonderful player and Ganguly is a good player. Let our juniors play game and show us with good long innings like these three has done for India. Cricket is not just hitting game.
Please don%u2019t fight for players. Pray for our country's sports and heroes because lots of bad things are happening.
I think Ajit agarkar is going to come into the Indian Team very soon. Vengsarkar has hatched a big conspiracy to bring teh mubai lobby back into the indian Team. Firsty he dropped dravid. He has given capataincy to Kumble only for the current series against Pak. After this he will drop Kumble citing Kumble's age as a reason. More players from Mumbai will come into the Indian Team. Sairaj Bahutule may make a comeback. Who knows? Ganguly would alos be dropped very soon since he is not from Mumbai. Vengsarkar is having a master plan to Mumbai team.

no.....not at all as soon as he has taken charge after kiran more things have started coming well with sr as well as juniors getting chance
what a performance again. scored 158 in the ranji after the irani trophy 162 and 59*. scored more than 1100 runs in 2007 and against all the good quality opponents like SA -A and on all grounds. the most consistent batsman in india. he definitely needs a look specially as batsman atleast.
ROHIT ,SREESHANTH, PRAVEEN KUMAR SHOULD BE GIVEN CHANCE FOR ATLEAST LAST ODI. GANGULY AND YUVARAJ SHOULD BE RESTED AND GAMBIR AND ROHIT SHOULD BE GIVEN CHANCE. ZAHEER AND IRFHAN SHOULD BE RESTED AND PRAVEEN KUMAR AND SREESHANT SHOULD BE GIVEN CHANCE.
arre kumble ko captain banaya to Ganguly ko kya hua? Kuch bhi nahin...it is not his problem at all.
It is the misfortune of India that we wouldnt live up to provide a challenge and seething fight to Australians.
Having said that, Kumble is a great cricketer in his own rights, no way an inch lesser than Tendulkar, GAnguly and Dravid. He has been also successful in leaving behind his own class and legacy in Indian cricket.

ganguly 's success bcuz of hardwork of dravid sachin veeru and kumble and vvs not b[cuz of his leadership qualities like promtiong groupism, taking out shirt, playing for sponsers or making opposition captian wiat etc he had slamiay's full support and nobody dared to spaeka against his dadagiri.ganguly took credit for other player hardwork and used media overhyped his captiancy while dravid did not get support from some superstatr players inclluding gnaguly and bcci and selection committe media is always biased to dravid batsman or captain even still stat proved dravid did equally good job like gnaguly he resigned bcuz of dirty politids of ind team dressing room and out of odi team bcuz of vengi and co. gnaguly failed in last 5 innigns 0 30 5 39 wiht 3 lifes and 6 what is he doing in team and ganguly is worst fielder, poor running betwkt will cause more run loss to team he scored runs but to save his place none of his innings transicacted into match winning innings unlike sachin kumble is great circketer he will be successful only if he gets support from other players espeically superstars and chelas that did not hapened to dravid
Dravid is a brilliant test cricketer...I hate him for his political approach in the past...but no body can take away his fantastic legacy as a test cricketer.
Again, same way that no one can take away the captainship legacy that Ganguly has left behind... I am sure Dravid will better than Ganguly in the coming tests....

What political approach?It was Ganguly who played politics with Dalmiya.Dravid played no politics.Any politics was played by Pawar and More followed by Vengsarkar.Ganguly supporters are dragging Dravid in without reason.Dravid can always get his place in the team.He does not moan,groan or grovel.

Because he knew tough tour of Australia coming up, and he wanted to hide from it ! Dravid is a first rate coward !
A lot is being said about Dravid not being in the ODI team and Saurav being there. I think Dravid is not out of form. He was in ODI team only because we did not have better options. Dravid is an excellent batsman for test matches and will be there. Why some of us want Dravid back in the team even at the cost team becoming weak and start losing againg? Saurav also is in team only because there are no better options. Selectors have tried quite a few players in his place but they all have pipped at the post. Besides, Saurav is a handy bowler too. Afridi's wicket yesterday on Gwaliar pitch could well be worth 40 extra runs that Pak might have got and which could have cchnaged the complexion of game.

Ashish. Finally someone sane on this forum has said something sensible. For people tearing up the whole world because Dravid is not in ODI team. These are the most suitable options we have in the team right now.
Many people were given chance in ODI team when Ganguly wasnt playing. None of them turned out to be international standard. Thats the reality.
And yes, Ganguly is more useful than Dravid in ODIs since he is a handy bowler with 100 wickets in ODIs.
When the pitch is slightly greem like it was in England and Mohali, he is a handful.
People simply complain about all kinds of nonsensicle things and forget that Ganguly is overall a better bet than Dravid in ODIs.
Saurav being in the ODI team is lending balance and flexibility to the side, because he and Pathan are both all rounders, really. Its allowing the team to play an extra batsman. Thats not something the team management can ignore easily.
Dravid is a better test batsman, agreed. So he will have a long life in tests. Period.

gnaguly is worst fielder he dropped catches dravid took 10 catces during five matches against Aussies and ganguly took one if he bowls one over he will give 12 runs to opposition his poor fieliding and poor running btw wkt will cause more runs team. he creates pressure on other end batsman by not taking singles gnaguly socred 0. 39. 6 39. 5 in last matches why is he in team? dravid dropped after 4 bad innings batting in diff nos while gnaguly battted as opener gnaguly is there b cuz of politician support not bcuz he is performaing or in great form non of his innings help team to win only playing for sefe for self to fix his place for next match
