What an honest cricketer Gilly is? One thing is sure Australians don't play for their own record. As an admirer of cricket, I feel that he should have completed 100 tests. It is a milestone which every cricketer dream of. But it is the strong character of Gilly who opted to retire just before 4 tests. I don't any Indian or Pakistani cricketer would have done unless and until he would have dropped out of the side. Big salute to one of the Great Cricketer of all time.
I think, gilly is one of the greatest ODI all rounder, cricket has ever seen.He was the nightmare of all his opponents especially who seizes the initial opportunity and demoralises the bowlers with prolific and hard hitting. Gilly, u still have in you everything to keep pace with the current cricket, although its your right decision to retire now. I think, the whole cricket world will remember you for ever for your onfield behaviuor and performance. hats off to you.

Gilly is better than dhoni or even uthappa...probably yuvi is there in his level..and its trademark Gilly to be unassuming..
