I think he had fear in find that only one team was there which can defeat Australia and that is and was India.
So he came here and spoiled the Team India, and thanx him for poor performance of players and the early exit of India team from World Cup,

yes sure, I would like tell u that India is the team which stopped Australian Winning sprint before Greg and the same team has thrown Australia out off T20 world Cup, not take it as a fluke because same Australian team lost 20-20 game to India...

You should have quit then...

Chappell, you are demented. If you were so sure, you should have quit then. Now after 6 months when India is performing reasonably well without even a coach ( read also as without you )you come out with racism in India, wrong team etc. You will not find another coaching assignment anywhere in the world. Why BCCI has given you this new stint is left to anybody's imagination. We do not know what was the deal, what was the cover-ups...

Art of Coaching

Coaching Indian team needs lot of man management skills along with the technical skills. No doubt Chappel is great in technical skills and lot many cricketers were benefitted, including ganguly in his Australian tour, but he clearly lacked man management skills.

He is right in stating that there are cultural differences between the two nations but I wonder how come even after knowing this he failed. I am not criticizing the Australian methodology but at the same time Chappel does not have right to criticize Indian culture without going into the depth.

True he had to work with lot of constraints working with the politicians in BCCI and few useless selectors, but he himself chose to work (with a hefty salary) in the system. He knew before joining the Indian cricket team how it is operated. So why cribbing now??

Even when we chose our new job, we try to assess the company's profile before joining. So Chappel should have done his homework before joining.

To me he was not ready to coach any team. He would have been successful as a mentor for kids till the age of 16. But beyond that age bar he is not matured enough to deal the matter.
