How Greg Chappel sidelined Saurav and Irfan Pathan.
Look at their performance and it is amazing.
Vengsarkar can not look beyond Maharashtra.He has sidelined and insulted Rahul Dravid and was bent upon to deny Dhoni from becoming Test Captain. Had it not been the all round crticism, he would have never given a chance to great Anil Kumble.
I think the selectors in past and present are of same breed. The thing at stake is the name of India and not of individuals. Sooner they act as an Indian and not as Marathi, better it will be for cricket in India.

Get ur stats before syaing anything useless. let me remind you Rohit Sharma is a Marathi but yet to get a chance. Rahul Dravid is a Marathi. So instead of speaking anything stupid get the correct stats.

Though i care less about caste, state, linguistic background etc - i am just puitting this up for record sake Rahul was born in Indore, he is not a kannadiga, he is a maharashtra Brahmin i suppose. His wife is from Nagpur

it doesnt matter from which place he(s). Venky is well justified in knocking Dravid out of ODI(s) because of his performance in last 10 ODI(s), whose average is below 10 runs in an ODI. He should do so well who perform in same way, now since he(s) done for Dravid...otherwise he justifies some politics and it can be any wild guess for people who post their comments...

Kumble was always sidelined for Harbhajan, How come he has been selected captain, no wonder all the selectors should be thrown in Bay of Bengal. What do you say?.

Really shocking for us Irfan Pathan not been selected for 2 test....vry sad irfan but still u have to keep urself ready for all such of partiallity coz u r staying along in such environment...even though irfan is always performed well againts pakis still his exclusion is really not acceptable

Irfan was doing well with his bowling and so also with his batting in theses series so what was the reason for his drop out????he is one of the best allrounder india has produced

Even Yuvraj doesnt have a place to play forget about Irfan Pathan.

Do not try to compare with Dravid and Gunguli. Dravid is a grate player. He will back soon and would play for long time for India than Ganguly. Comparisons between Dravid and Ganguly would become worst then the comparison between Moon (Dravid) and Monkey (Ganuly)
