sachin dravid and kumble should be made the joint coaches, As senior players for such long time they have significant experience. also the fans will have the luxury of some new faces.
Who is pawar to determine who should be the coach? there must be some kind of expert panel to look into that. pawar would do well not to bullshit. That is the job of the commentators.
Geoff Marsh or Tim Boon of Australia. And also appoint a Baseball coach so that our fielding standard will improve. For bowling V.Prasad is just arranging the nets and making giving the bowlers water and towel. Appoint Bruce Reid of Australia
Best batting Coach options for- 1)Brian Lara of West indies 2)Arvinda De silva of Sri lanka 3)Steve waugh of Australia 4)Geoffrey boy cott of Australia 5) Ravi Shastri of India
Best Bowling coach option- 1) Glenn Mcgrath of Australia 2) Allan Donald of South Africa 3) Wasim Akram ( as there are 3 left ar bowlers) 4) Javagal Srinath- India
Fielding coach - 1) Azahr-ud-din 2) Jonty Rhodes 3) Robin singh ( at present )

My dear friend, u missed a very basic point relevant to every common person which even u might have noticed in your school days!!!
A TOPPER OR A KNOWLEDGEABLE PERSON CANNOT NECESSARILY BE A GOOD TEACHER/COACH.
The ones you mentioned were best in their career in their field but will they be able to transfer knowledge would be a question to ask. A coach needs to have atleast 3-4 years of coaching experience. Like a player a coach also has a learning curve - interpersonal skills, gather raw data (opposition bowling/batting vides, stats, etc.) then use them efficiently....
We had Chappel, who was best but did not had interpersonal skills and as such too bitter experience. Now as he is back for Rajasthan cricket academy, he talks politely gives suggestion through media and I believe if he becomes a coach in future for a team he might be the best option as with technical skills he also know proper man handling...
I hope this time BCCI finds a real coach not just the best fielder/bateman/bowler.
I think Ravi Shastri has done a good job in bringing in Dave Whatmore for NCA. That is probably a better role for him ..as he will get to coach the folks who will form the future indian team. This is definitely better than being a coach for Team india where he will be judged on a match by match basis.
