We can just hope of Indians doing that but my dear chances are very less but still I do pray that Indians will outcome aussies in aussies this time.... All the very best to our Cricket team.
Have you heard from Ricky ponting's interview about the aussies strategy?. there is no players involvement in the selection of strategy. When I wake up the strategy is ready by Buchanan( coach). Follow and play. When I go to bat I go as batsman and not as captain. But In India , it will look like our Prime Minister is going to bat. Go and do your job and come back. Keep 3 to 4 run rate per over. If you win the toss select to bat and score a huge score and you need not bat again. But now this is the right time for Srilanka or India to win as Mcgrath is not around. Forget Warne ,we sub continent players play well against him. Only Sourav Ganguly did a good job as a captain in Australia and against Australia. Greg chappell spoiled that also.

Why do you want to take Sri Lanka with you? They arent our brothers in Cricket. Those selfish Lankans are bruised to every corner for pinching on Indian Approach.
Wish they get a fitting lesson and Aussie remain unbeaten. This will get best chance for us to peep in and taste some victory.
It takes hard training and sharp focus to keep yourself consistent. In cricket, Australia is striving to keep it in force and maintain with enormous hardwork.
Keep the good work going...
Its now the rest of the world who are put to test in coming out with more positive aggression combined with strategies to beat this great team..
So now Murali can take pride that they have played Sri Lanka's way and lost by an innings! They will get all the 'good behaviour' trophies in the world, though in the process may lose tests after tests by innings margin.

Do u mean if they had followed India's footsteps the result would have been different?

yes venkatesh you are right kuthyar doesnt know what he means by what he has written. We lost both the one day series aginst the Aussies does that make us champions
Watching the Aussies win agaist the Sri Lankans was instructive. The Aussie batting is powerful. So the opposition has to bat as well, the Aussie bowling being a bit short on experience. The interesting thing is if you are defensive you will be in trouble. The modern theory is that you need to go at 3.5 to 4 runs an over as you do not know when a ball will get you.Look at Mahela ,playing so well, but a Johnson delivery gets him. So only those good at horizontal bat shots will succeed.Ganguly,Sachin,Dravid,Yuvraj all will have to train to play this on faster pitches.Otherwise the Aussies will get us. There is no alternative to good catching .Robin Singh has to train specialists for each position.Dravid,Laxman in the slips.Ganguly not in the slips.Where to hide him?Tendu also not good in the slips. This will be the key.Our fast bowling optios are limited.Even Dilhara looked helpless. The Aussie tour is the real thing and we have to really plan to even be competitive.Instead the Board is having a gala time on the one day circus.

You are too optimistic!!! Words cannot actually make reality. Those big grounds need a lot from the players who have insipiration to perform not those who are already contended with what they have (meagre victories)!!!
We should understand that T20, ODI & Test are different forms of cricket and should have different teams for every form. Player like Utthappa is very good in T20 and ODI who can bat well in last overs and give a remarkable addition in Team score. But he is not good for Test matches where you need to be cool and need to play long innings rather than 20 runs in 10 balls and get out. Therefore having 3 different teams even with 3 different skippers is not at all a bad idea. Even Mahi need not be a part of Test Team if a good alternate is available.

Who is asking Uthappa to play in tests??? Dude, wake up and wait for the team announcement. I think they will continue the same team tht played against England.

nobody is asking nobody to do anything. selectors dont go by our words. These were only my feeling when I saw some people are asking to kick off Uthappa in page 3.
