Why people are jealous of Aussies??? Is it their inability or a complex sort of?? I bet none would have watched Aussies playing (especiall the current test series). It requires more than everything to be like them consistently, honouring their Crowns as World Champions.

Dont get carried away by small glimpses of wins but to watch how Cricket is well executed IN FIELD.

Lankans are useless....Lankans can only compete in Lanka...
They are poor travellers to Australia...they have still not won a test match there...

Indians are different!! India have troubled Australia on their last tour and might trouble them again...still no doubt that Aussies will come up trumps...just that against India, it won't be a cakewalk!!

when do you learn to respect ur fellow indians? if Vuthappa told that, let him prove and you can criticise him after he failed. Why so pesimestic and so much vulgarism in your thinking?
Remember Idli is the best healthy food than the rubbish zunk food ate by so many people. your comments only tells your state of your mind.

What he meant was that he will play Diwali Firecrackers with other teammates.....
He will be exposed ruthlessly by Johnson and Lee in Australia..

Leave it there, it's good for you.

You seem to know what a person thinks, while he makes a public admission, more than the person himself. Fantastic.

Understanding the game? A good escape route for you.

In the recent series, out of the overall 7 games played against Australia (champions in all forms of the game) the result was 4 - 3. There were two close games in that. But for the standing up of a few spirited guys (south indians) the result could as well have been 7 - 0.

I have tried to make this as simple as possible. How much you will understand out of this is left to anyone's guess...

And what makes you so technically qualified to make these comments, Sir? I guess you were some1 who said the same the last time around about Ganguly, before he responded with a magnificient 133 in Brisbane, last tour. So dont be an unqualified technical analyst

I see. Both of you are spineless. What both you guys do not realise is, that we have to nullify the sledging part and when that is nullified, the better team will win on cricketing merits. That's what the new Indian team is trying to achieve. Lee is almost an Indian spending most of his time in India for ad shoots and spends his time in South India and Idli/Vada has made him a thinking bowler. What do you eat guys eat for breakfast anyways, may be some mutton. No doubt you have become muttonheads...

Exactly...it is the merit that will decide the difference between the two teams and that is why they beat us 4-2 in the ODI series..

I think you don't have an iota of understanding of the game and can only babble like an incoherent fool....

Australia have been beaten only twice in the last 10 years on their soil....
And on both ocassions, it was sheer talent that saw them packing...not loud mouth tactics....

First was in 1997 when Wasim and Waqar destroyed them repeatedly in Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth...and the second was in 2002 when shane Bond destroyed them....

The common thread was pace bowling of the highest class....

So, now you know who is spineless.......i ahve not made any idli vada comments...so maybe you can have a bit of it for breakfast and maybe you will get some wisdom from that udid vada!!

There is a differene when we toured them in 2001 (Not sure of the exact year). We almost beat them by our batting, not by pace bowling. Steve waugh saved them in the last match and we draw the series instead of winning.
The theme is Consistent batting and Bowling performance can trouble best in the business.

You moron troubling will never be equal to win. Imagine yourself on the winning side and ask whether you would rate the same.. Accept champions as champions and runners as just runners.

Vatsal whoever, It happened because the guys who played for India were as spineless as you and Kher whoever! Merv Hughes, an average bowler at best with a big phisique, was a big success for Australia. He has said recently, that a third of his accumulation of wickets came from intimidating and sledging. One has to counter it and show them that we are mentally tough. Any way, a muttonhead like you guys will not understand psychology. Psychology is a different science and it requires intellignce to understand which you both are not capable of.

Vatsal Parekh...not Vatsal whoever......Jolly what?? You don't even seem to have a second name and even the one name that you have does not befit your personality...

As i said before, you do not have an iota of understanding of the game and thus only yap....
You are not just a spineless person but a braindead person as well....

Merv Hughes got his wickets, not cos of intimidation(thats what he thinks) but due to some baility and the nature of wickets and some poor ashes batting by England..,ost of his wickets came during ashes contests in the 80s...

Psychological warefare can be countered by sledging only if it does not lead to loss of focus..
In our case, it makes us lose our focus...there was a lot of sledging even in 2003 but we countered with an almost epistemological approach..
But i guess such thinking is beyond a jurrasic pea brain like you..
I'll leave it out here!!

Aussie Dominance
by Annapoorna Kulkarni on Nov 10, 2007 06:21 PM  | Hide replies

I feel the Aussie Dominance is just a mindset. No doubt, they play good & aggressive cricket, but the opposition teams view them as formidable and unbeatable which is where the visiting teams loose the contest in the first place.Just see them as any other team and play well, any team can consistently beat them. Remember the invincible Federer was beaten by Nalbandian twice in successive tournaments (I know cricket and tennis are different, but still an example.....thats it...)

whoever plays better on any given day wins--all sports men are humans and are prone to both sucess and failure--no one is a mechanical automation--so why this debate-though in sports physical fitness would be a necessity.

Totally Agree with you... But the sub continent teams are weak in "Brain Game". Any sport can be played with that.

Mental Aggression is very important and it gives more in less efforts (Although all Australians are Best and outperforming Playes !!!)

People like Wasim Akram, Late Ayerton Senna (F1 Driver), Fedrer, Maria Sharapova, others are Talented Players but very Aggressive on the Field. Opponents find difficult to handle that tactics.

In different sense, opponents lack in Game Spirits and Acting (Expressions and Body Language), thats why they get defeated.

calcutta is a fluke win?....not at all... They lost in chennai also miserably...they could not face harbajan..we had the world best batsman DRVAID and LAXMAN and ofcourse tendulkar.....Australia always performed badly in india... in 60s They could not face prasanna even with Bill Lawry and other big batsman in their team... they crumbled to Prasanna, aus were 25 for 6 in their second innings in chennai..Even in australia Kapil could run thru australian line up in less than 100 runs and gave an unforgettable win for india.
Even after scoring 400 they could not contain South Africa's successful chase...
Australia ALSO wins like any other team in the world...thats all..

Can't you go beyond 1920's to check on Aussie power. Perhaps take out the Cricket History since its perception in the world... and list out the number of matches aussies have lost. Perhaps its an useful info to retirees and senior citizens to relist on these facts.

Its the ability to shine in the deciding matches, viz, finals, you are trying to point out the minnow facts against Aussies and project against them. Any other team in the world have not been so consistent as Aussies. Accept the fact, or continue your havocs.
