not so good on paper, great on field

When we look at the line up, Phil Jacques is new to International cricket, Mike Hussey is terribly out of form, Adam Gilchrist is getting more and more inconsistent, Michael Clarke is not exactly a match winner, Andrew Symonds is not a great test player. But when this bunch of guys get on to field, they are galvanized into a line up of world beaters, aided by the power of Matty Hayden and form of Punter.

Clark is another McGrath, Brad Hogg is a left-handed Warne and Mitchell Johnson can destroy the world's best. They don't need non-thinkers like Brett and Tait, or at least one of them.

The Squad selected by Cricket Australia is the best one and I believe Brad Hogg will be the 12th man and Shaun Tait the 13th man. Stuart Clark,Brett Lee,Mitchell Johnson for the Pace Bolwing Positions and Stuart Mcgill & Andrew Symonds for the Spin Bowling Positions will be a potent bowling combination for the aussies against the lankans. all in all, it should be an interesting series.

Aussies have the best batting, bowling and fielding line up in the world. I feel that loosing players like Mcgragh, Warne, Langer, Martyn will not impact them at all. If anything the Batting line up seems stronger now.
