hope they get back the Uefa Champions league also next season. Ten Sports has been absolutely pathetic with Richard Drew, the former presenter at ESPn/Star as the commentator.
This is definitely a great development since they are perhaps the best sports channel in India and perhaps whole of South and South-East Asia. The BCCI needs to understand that in addition to money, experience and expertise of the broadcasters also matter. Let us hope that they finally get to understand this so that we get to experience some classy coverage in the years to come.

Any chance of Navjot Siddhu joining ESPN/STAR commentary team. Once they can forgive Dean Jones ,they must forgive sidhu as well. Though sometimes sounds weired, sidhu adds an extra charm to commentary with his unusal comments and proverbs. Sidhu/tony greg/jeffery/Shaz & Waz along with Harsha and Sunny are perhaps the best in the market. Thank fully they all are with ESPN Star.
Espn and star sports are the best channels for cricket lovers. The coverage is absouletly the most attractive, interesting, most meomrable commentary by the experts i love watching this channel.Thankx for ESPN-STARSPORTS for hiring the boradcast ritghts.
These are the best channels to watch cricket on.. these channels take commercial break only after entire over is bowled !! and have best in market commentrators...

Excellent news this for cricket watchers in India. Atleast you will get rid of those orgasmic 'ahaas' of Arun Lal and verbal dheorrea of other comentations like LS, Charu, Kris etc. ESPN Star boast a very knowledgable commentry team headed by Harsha, Ravi, Wilko, Sunny and If I am not wrong even Waz. Though this is nothing compared to what Sky gives (Ian Botham, Bumble, David Gover, Nasser Hussain, Mike Holding , Mike Artherton, Nick Knight, Paul Allot, etc) it is still better. Cheers PG

Watching cricket on ESPN Star Sports is always a pleasure.. but we sholudnt have a hike in subscription rates for a long time to come. Max, ten sports and neo cost us a lot, the last being pulled off from cable as there wont be any cricket. BCCI should go the ICC and ACC way, rewarding telecast rights to existing broadcasters and not promote a new channel.

You are right Anshul . But with inflation so high what else you can expect. The more you earn the more you spend .
