What a nonsense

I doubt the first match of the australiya tour will start in time due to Indian players suffering from loose motion. Please send some medico to take care them. May be australiya will bury our players there itself!

It looks like BCCI wants to make money either by hook or crook...They seem to tell players if you cant handle the schedule/pressure of crammed time table ... then don't play and that they have rotation policy in place( or is it reserve players who could play for lesser fees). Does that mean I want to make money and I dont care about your reservations....

Why are we pandering to the BCCI by talking so extensively about the Board....bloody autocracy; if I want to play cricket, I have to ask the Board??!! Bullshit!!!

Lets make BCCI irrelevant! Subhash Chandra has already fired the first salvo by introducing ICL; he says it will not be a threat to BCCI, but in its own way, the format will make BCCI feel like they are running a kindergarden school!! Thats the way to make this more value added!!

BCCI has accepted...
by Kart on May 30, 2007 01:42 PM

With this article BCCI has indirectly agreed that it is a cramped schedule. Why don't they postpone the Pakistan tour to next year so that Indians get the much needed warm up matches before playing Australia in the 1st test match.

Players Burn out

The BCCI is more into filling their pockets, they dont care too much about the quality of Indian Cricket. The shedule for the Indian Team is just too much, more than any other cricketing nation. This is the main reason for the downfall of Indian Cricket, as we play too much all the cricketing nations know our strategies therefore when it comes to playing tournaments we are outplayed by other teams.

It is a well known fact for a long time over several decades that Indian cricket teams take time to adjust to the new conditions. By the time they have adjusted and are able to play well, the tour is over.

Our teams perform badly because they do not get sufficient number of practice games to get over the effect of the weather & playing conditions.

There is no point in telling that Indians are poor travellers when nothing is done to prepare them well for overseas tours.

It is like throwing the lamb into the lion's den and then complaining that it did not even put up a fight.

It is high time that public demands accountability from BCCI for it's various actions.

Then how come Aus/WI/Eng fare better viz-a-viz Ind when they tour.
Even foreign teams get the same time to settle.

India is geographically favoured as we have Hot/Humid & Cool conditions and Stadiums across India to practice before leaving ...

No point in cribbing and crying..

Just accept we r just average cricketers who play above avg intermittently.

And the Ind fans expect them to play like champions every time !!

We had the best available expensive branded coach. Tons of money . Tons of talent individually.

But as a Team Crashed !!!!
SAD to be a cricket fan. Still heart cheers for them :)

Vinod,
I think you are the least informed cricket fan ever! Australia won a series in India after 38 YEARS! If that's what you mean by faring better, then India has certainly fared much, much better. After 1981, 1985, they again did not lose a series against Australia in 2004! A gap of only 19 years! Therefore Indians are twice as good as Aussies as travellers!
England drew a test series against India in India after 21 years. India, after winning the series against England in 1986, drew a series in 2002, after only 16 years! So India is definitely better as travellers than either England or Australia. Stop being a slave to the mentality of white supremacy!

Mr whatever,

The question here was of warm up matches. All non subcon teams come here and get adjusted and play fairly against us. A run for our money. Since conditions suits us we just draw or squeeze a winner.

When we travel just winning a match is more than enough.(its more of bad play from opposion)

Why we have to do so much adjustment in foreign soil,

Away 3 test against AUS/ENG/WI/SA , very high chance we loose all. win just a match here or there.
While others in India will give us a tough fight and Draw or win.

unfortunately ur comments are as low lying as urself dude. Keep praying everyday for Mr. Sachin Tendulkar to stay out of the team and he'll keep playing as good as he's been playing.
