Dear Cricket lovers, first of all we shall understand what for the test matches played. In earlier days test matches played before Oneday Games. That means for preparing oneday games test matches was played. And most of the test players played oneday match. But here test match is played for what? Training at B'desh ground to play in someother grounds. What is this? Anyone thing this way? Pl don't love cricket. Just see for time pass. Let the players and the board make some crores. And dear selectors, if u r selecting players based on the past records, pl give a chance to Shri.Sunil Gavaskar at middle and Shri. Kapildev as captain. We may have a chance to win the World Cup again.

Paramasivan, U know when one day cricket has started. It started decades after the start of test cricket. Test cricket is the actual way to analyse a team. Now one day cricket is having more popularity because of the high scoring.
You were saying that test cricket was played just like a practice for one dayers. Then tell me why they played test cricket at that time.

I am not so keen on cricket dear. But my question is why it is called as test match? It can be called as "Five Days Internationals" just like "One Day Internationals". And why the same players of ODI are out from tests?

Another question, if it is started decades before One Day Games, why the World Cup Matches palyed for One Day?. Why that much expenses? Just like ODI, Five Days Internationals Cup matches can also be played, is it? Then we can analyse the real test champion team also.

Very good, I appreciate your knowledge in cricket, if we play with youngsters defiantly our ICC ranks goes to bottom. e.g. Youngsters played the series versus WI, DLF cup, ICC Champions Trophy in 2006. And South Africa Tour in 2007 we lost all the series very badly.

Instead of giving chances to seniors better to give chances to juniors player.
Its time to produce new faces for Indian Cricket team,better give berths to top averaging batsmenand bowlers in Indian domestic leagues. The old horses have been played too long and their capacity checked,now have some new faces.
