well our great "BCCI" has done it again. leave it to "BCCI" to do something that contradicts the exact thing the boards members do themselves. They say they will pay the criceters based on poerformance but they will get paid big bucks for doing nothing, just goofing off. they want to limit the amount of endorsements each palyer does, but yet they do not want to limit the amount the members of the board get for themselves. LEAVE POLITICS OUT OPF SPORTS. But then again it is India what do you expect?
Well then why not extend this rule to the selection committe, the cricket board chairman, the, the guys who selected the cricket board chairman and on and on.... funny the actors get paid however the film goes
its sport guys, not politics. Dont bring these funny rules in the name of brining changes. select good talent and give them good training.
in my opinion whoever drafted this contract should be made to sign the same and should be paid based on his performance.
Australia play for world cup.... Indian Cricketers play for Money ...... now BCCI is cutting their Ads and Salary ..... and on top of it wants them to perform better ..... Cmon they wanna be role models... hence they are more concentrating on Modelling.... playing long innings under the sun will have adverse effect on their skin and they won't be able to get Ads....

Indian cricket team also can do good things like organizing charity matches for the kids..... here they'll play against kids..... Will be a tough match to watch ....... :)
Anyway these non performers are waiting to be thrown out. They are not appointed to their places they are in now and so they can be easily thrown out. What is BCCI waiting for?
Let us not forget cricket is not the only game Australians play and watch - rugby, tennis, hockey (both), yatching, athletics.....the list goes on and all these sports gets equal recognition and public support. Yet they keep winning the sport of cricket. And Indians... 80% watch cricket, ignored and dumped our national game of hockey, hardly watch the international sport of soccer. What are we all upto. It is time for recognition of all sports at all levels within India or we will always be a nation of billion heads and not single olympic gold. And thank the illiterate and goonda politicians for creating such an atmosphere.

These indian cricketers are shameless bunch of folks.Inspite of the fiasco at the World cup,these morons havent changed.Still running around money continues.They should be paid what they deserve.Endorsements should be cut off and only performance should be appreciated.They should be learning few things from Australia.

Endorsements is Cricketer's business. I don't think anyone should interfere in that. BCCI sould judge cricketers based on performance. IF the cricketers don't perform, they get dropped and some else gets does better that fellow will get the endoresements. I thinkthat is good for the game. BCCI can and should decide retention, bonus etc and nothing about endoresement. That is BCCI's business. They should develop sane and consistent contracts that encourages performance. If the cricketers don't sign for that then the cricketers should be told to get lost and they should pick new talents.

My Libran, endrosment means more photo/ad shootin... means more time given for it ... means more poplarity .... means more page 3 party & functions ... and in 24hrs day.... you cannot do all the above work and get time to practice ?? Huh .... Can U
There was same kind of confusion going on with another Sport and it was intresting to note that NO / ABSOLUTELY ZERO comments were posted on that page although that page was listed almost 12 hours back.........
and this page full of people's CONCERNS ..... So much for sumping Cricket..
If criket is only selling item then why should people not take advantage of it ,,,,,,,,, kya pata Kal ho na ho ..... like nobody now watched Inidan Hockey ...
if not ready sign contract for getting ad money fire them and bring up a new team. also remove any politics creating holes in contract and do not make it onesided as IT companies and outsorcing companies and insuraance companies do
