Abe chutiye! The South African bowling attack against whom Amre scored his runs was one of the best at that time. And Alan Donald bowling at his best was better than Shoaib Akhtar!

maybe Ganguly should train to be a coach and not a player... did you see him fielding... he was slower than a tortoise. Ganguly GODFATHER...Please give me a break. He should honorably retire. So should Tendulkar. There are enough players in the pipeline.

People talked about Ganguly to be captain shame on these people talking wiht heriocs that are 4 years old then why not make Kapil or Gavasker the captain they are far more better than Ganguly.Read newspaper during fielding practice camp that are going on in Eden garden he cant pick up running balls dropped three catches in sucession it shows old age coming into it.please dont talk crap history is history feature is young n fit cricketer.

Hey whats this!!! Pravin Amre's career was played by selectors!!! this should be the joke of the year bcoz he was given lot of opportunities as usual but he didnt make the best use of it,thats the simple reason why he was dropped.The youngsters like Sachin,jadeja were taking over the reigns in the middile order with the likes of Azhar and Manjerekar experienced and seasoned campaigners...thats where he lost the plot and had to be dropped from the team thanks to some poor form of runs.
but what amasing me in this discussion is that he is regarded as one of the unluckiest cricketers...my foot...Hey Rediff pls grow up we expect a lot from u but not like this trash

Thats rubbish Pravin Amre was not given half the chances others have and he was a courageous batsman. He did lose form sometime in between , but I can never forget his debut 100 in South Africa against Donald,Devillers,Macmillan and Mathews .. what a fabulous innings that was!!

guys! My grandfather still plays cricket. Hence if your grandmothers wish to play cricket with him, they are welcome.
I havent seen much of rohit sharma, so not commenting on him ... but manoj tiwari plays almost similar to our old Vikram Rathod, hope he wont perform like rathod and will be a good prospect for Future Team India

simple..they are both part of Pepsi ad team...so is sreesanth, utthapa, dhoni, etc. Thats why they are all in the team.
