LACKADAISCAL APPROACH
by avinash shetty on Jun 26, 2007 02:15 PM

Chalta hai attitude had crept up of late in Indian Cricket team. Previous match winning performances were considered to cement their positions in Indian team. But the shameful washout in World cup made Board finally come out of their slumber and lazy approach. Bhajji n Sehwag cant justify their positions on basis of a certain match win. They have to prove themselves n make a promising comeback. No doubt they r talented but win is the mantra not seniority or previous accomplishments.

Indian Players

All the Indian players have lost touch in last one year or so. Bhajji was a class spinner so were Sachin and Dravid classic in batting. Looks coaching of Greg has made them forget basic lessons. Almost all the players loosing touch is strange. If you look at the current performances, more players from team will make to English counties.

He is only responsible.

No doubt Bhajji is a fierce competitor, but he only is responsible for his current exclusion frm the team. His contribution to Indias winning cause hasbeen minimum for the last 2 years.India needs him badly.I wish he will take this as a challenge to iron out drawbacks in his game and come back to the team.

Wishing Bhajji all the very best during his stint at Surrey !

Playing county cricket during the off season will keep the world class spinner fit, motivated and hungry for success. Overseas players are enriching the game in the UK.

Sardars

They are the Backbone of India....for generations they have sacrificed their lives for our motherland. Every responsible Indian shud be proud of our Sardars and their achievements. Starting from Bhagat singh...to Harbhajan and Manmohan.......Sardars have shed blood for this country (unlike the Mollahs).
So please my fellow Indians....don't hurt them with irresponsible comments.

Abhimanyu Sen.

Grow up man. Dont talk like a stupid fanatic about religion. Dont mix religion into anything. We are all Indians Muslims or Sardars or Hindu. Dont try to praise or slander anyone.

Sachin, Shewag, Gangully, Harbhajan, Agarkar, Kumble, and Kaif, must be shown the door once for all. Question of recalling them should not arise, even if India loses a few matches initially. Then we can build a strong Indian Team.

However our great Pawar and Vengaskar will persist with Tendulkar and Agarkar as long as they are at the helm. It would be in the interest of Cricket if Pawar hands over the charge to Lalu Prasad Yadav who will improve Indian Cricket like Indian Railways !!!

Harbhajan has been a class spinner,he is going through a dip in his form ,and shall bounce back for sure after his outing in county.
Those who have forgotten his performance of match winning bowling and criticising him ,I think are not Indian fans. These are sick petty and parochial minded fellows who have take no pride in truely class bowler like Harabhajan.
To me Sardar always rocks,
I am proud of them & their contribution.
