It is wonderful to know that erring officials are also punished by ICC. Making a mockery at the end of the elite tournament was a major blunder by these experienced lot and they definitely deserve punishment.
We wish this had come earlier but better late than never.
No matter what others do..say appoint big name coaches, rights to host WC etc...Aus are gonna beat everyone...Their structure and their players are the best

Definately Aussies are best.... no doubt.............But in this case, the umpires & ICC helped then to beat SL with ease!!!!
See Sri Lanka should have got an opportunity to chase their target in proper daylight and fine whether Till the 16th over or so,the Lankans were playing well Then it started raining.From that point onwards , the match should have been continued on the next day The referees and umpires should have done something about this too

dude, don't forget once upon a time they ruled the cricket world, same the way Aussies doing now. Nowadays their youngsters are showing interest in Football and other Athletic games instead of boring game called cricket. Also youth generation there having a serious problem of Drugs inhaling

what is this highly biased and pastisan Mr. Speed trying to prove now all these punishments and fines r a hogwash if he is so honest y not a rematch of the final or is he scared that the tables might be turned
