Good for Bhajji
by Srinivas Boorugu on Jun 24, 2007 08:38 PM

Its actually blessing in disguise for bhajji... I don't think even Bhajji would expect to take any wickets in English conditions. Except in Australian series where he has taken record number of wickets, I consider him to be the most hyped bowler in India(ofcours with Agrakar). Bhajji is a match winner only in
Indian conditions and not even sub continent. Selecters should instead concentrate on grooming youngsters like Chawla and Ohuja. Jus dig down your memory lane to findout when Bhajji has taken a 5 wicket haul while touring (Am sure this will be tough to guess).

Harbhajan's exclusion for the tour to England
by Shridhar Venkat Iyer on Jun 23, 2007 12:38 PM

June 23, 2007.

Well, I was expecting the axe on Harbhajan, Shewag, and Pathan, as they have not been contributing in the recent years. Consistent contribution to the team's efforts is the mantra. Without contribution, 'class' etc will have no use. This is applicable for all players.

With best wishes,
V.Srinivasan.

What u do with class with no contribution?
by jeevan on Jun 23, 2007 10:39 AM

Talking about class is stupidity. What matters is contribution. What matters is an Indian Win or Not.

class of bhajji
by chirag patel on Jun 23, 2007 04:20 AM

i think class is no use if the player is not willing to work hard and also if an ordinary player works hard and really applied himself he can outclass any classy player/.....take a examle of sachin and collingwood...no doubt sachin is more classy but with hard work collingwood has been more consistent

Dhoni wanted to build swimming pool in house
by Raman on Jun 23, 2007 02:10 AM  | Hide replies

I saw a article in sify.com that Mahendra Dhoni's neighbours have complained on how Dhoni was authorised to build a swimming pool in house and how that would suck up the water for the people in the streets etc..
What a shame, this guy needs a swimming pool in his house for the cricket he played,if he wants to swim he should do it when it rains and the streets are flooded with water.
Our movie stars and cricketers are the most greedy, shameless, insensitive people, worse than politicians.

Please add our software and BPO professionals to the list who are also earning lots of more money for the same amount of work an Engineer or Chartered accountant do in a manufacturing industry. While cricketers and film starts silently make money, we have time to criticize others life styles.

Even after living in UK this guy's heart bleeds for his fellow Sikh, every community keeps backing their own and where can be merit in selection then?
He should be surprised that Navjo Sidhu and Maninder Singh have been forced to retire as well..

The whole article is about what Farokh Engineer said and thinks and yet the article's title suggests its about Monty's opinion.
