He is class bowler. If being a spinner and taking 10 wickets in England pitch, he will lot better in our subcontinent. Another spinner in making his impression. He is heading in towards Kumble, Shane, Vetory catagory. Murli not included as he has to still learn bowl without chucking.
Vaughan said it right. But why one set of rules for the whites and another for the blacks and browns? Monty is as english as they come, turban et al, so that counter doesnt work. If say, Bhajji or sehwag had appealed half as much, wouldnt they have been hauled up? I think this sux big time.

Remember Viru got hauled up in his very first series in South Africa, Could not he have been warned and let off? Instead he get's a one match ban.

Yeah i see some foreign umpires, taking umbrage against indian players. In one such incident Rudi koertzen, was livid against dhoni as he appealed for a run out, as he sought for a third umpire decision. For them, anything indians do is excessive.
I dont think this type of appealing is not new for international cricket. All aussis bowlers are appealing like this only. Ponty is new for international cricket. After some experience he knows everything
