Whatmore would hv been ideal. Dont know who got Gavaskar on board to muddy waters...Indians are fast getting a reputation for being horrible deal makers they seem to quarrel about everything...months go by but India cant get a Nuke deal done with US..the Dabhol deal goes sour...Shimla accord goes ineffective...maybe Indians want everything without giving in something themselves...get the right attitude and set goals India!!

I agree with u for most of the issues, but for the Nuke deal. Ofcourse, i got ur point but just to reiterate, i am sure US is trying to tie down india on its freedom to utilize nuclear capbilities. That deal is being used by US to bind us. which is absolutely unacceptable in its present form. No compromise on National security. Yes, u r right in all other cases.

That's hy Greg Chappel did such a great job with Team India....we lost players such as Pathan and Kaif...Okay seriously he does't have a right to interfere in India cricket matters

Ask ponting to come and coach India! The last man was running a circus here. Mate we can coach with with our own options, only thing is we like like white skin. Sir Gavasker cannot resist a lick off the white skin mate.

Why not destination India
by ACM on Jun 14, 2007 01:15 AM  | Hide replies

All things considered, India my motherland is not for me. No - the complaint is NOT about India's crumbling infrastructure or the toasty climate or the apology that calls itself the government (no matter who is in power) or the mockery that is the judiciary or imperial bureaucracy. It has only and strictly to do with the people that make up India. India is full of racist, bigoted, disunited on basis of religion, region, language, etc., ill tempered, religiously fanatical, dirty, ill mannered, snobbish, slobbering, pompous, thoughtless, ogling, gropping, stalking people. I frequently feel embarassed by this behaviour of people of my country and feel completely helpless to do anything about this other than to run away from India. I find such people writing messages here and wouldn't be surprised by such responses to this very post. There is a genuine lack of normal people but we'll be the first to complain about ill treatment to us.

:).... and that's why it is so interesting... there are no normal boring people who behave like robots, pasting false smiles.

The people here are human, they are real and that is why when you are here there is an important piece of jigsaw that seems to fall in place.

India is true life, the rest is mostly and act, an empty shell of a life... I know... I have lived outside for a few years and returned back.

Please read the list below for the list of the members of the BCCI.

Mr Sharad Pawar (President) (IS A MARATHI)
Mr Niranjan Shah (Secretary) (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Ranbir Singh Mahendra (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Rajiv Shukla        (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Chirayu Amin        (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Ranga Reddy              (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Rajsingh Dungerpur        (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr C.K. Khanna              (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Gautam Dasgupta        (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Jyoti Bajpai        (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Jagmohan Dalmiya        (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Inder Singh Bindra        (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Arun Jaitley        (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr S. Karunakaran Nair        (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Ranbir Singh Mahendra (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr N. Srinivasan        (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr N Subba Rao              (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Ratnakar Shetty        (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr Bibhuti Das              (NOT A MARATHI)
Mr.Lalit Modi              (NOT A MARATHI)

The way BCCI works is that there are 27 Ranji Trophy teams and total of 5 zones.

Election is held to all those via secret ballot and a person to lead BCCI needs to get elected
from these 27 Ranji Trophy commmities and also the 5 zones.

Then you become the President of the BCCI.

The BCCI itself has a list of members.

Hence next time you vommit your dirty anti marathi talk do read this post.
