by chander thakur on Jun 12, 2007 11:26 PM  | Hide replies

It seems BIG hands behind the scene are handling the case carefully not the so called POLICE of either countries. Anyhow the case is CLOSED. Hats off to the INvestigating Department. It happens only in Kalyug.

If Mr woolmer died of natural causes how he had a broken bone in the neck?.It only strengthens my view that match fixing is been done at a very high and influencial level. This is an example set out by the powerlobby that what can happen to other captains and coaches, who don't heed to their orders.
The jamican police is either frustrated by the lack of any progress in the case or it may be a blatant coverup.

by Jehan Mir on Jun 12, 2007 11:14 PM  | Hide replies

Bob Woolmer was found unconscious in the hotel room ,not dead. When one is unconscious, one is still breathing and has pulse. He died at the hospital, yet the pathologist decided he died of asphyxiation from strangling. asphyxiation means he was cut off air supply till Woolmer was dead. You decide the rest.

i dont think its the pakis. its the match fixing guys. these guys belong to all nations across continents, and most probably the big D. from the looks of it, Bob was going to expose it all, he paid with his life, and ICC covered it all up nicely.

there's my conspiracy theory for the day. :)

but surely there's more than what meets the eye.

whats with the guys generally speculating and trashing either PCB or Jamaica or Pak cricket team? The British pathologists themselves have concluded its not a murder.
And one joker trashes the whole of Jamaica for this... and trashing Pak for such non-issues is not patriotic, its stupid.
and Don't bring ur stupid religious nonsense here, whatever religion u think u belong to.

yeah true. there's a lot of criticism to our neighbors, and by our neighbors too. its utter nonsense. also dragging religion makes it worse.

but it looks like ICC has botched up big time, the entire incident is very very fishy.

Cricket is dying the same way as Woolmer
by Navyn on Jun 12, 2007 11:05 PM  | Hide replies

Cricket is dying the same was as Woolmer. Woolmer has been murdered , that even a street dog can tell there. BUt it's being covered up. It's the same case with Cricket. Everyone knows who is murdering cricket, but nothing is happening to them. Infact these very people are at the top of ICC, BCCI, players lobby, corporate houses who give ads to players and some players also are all to be blamed for the murder of cricket....

Bob Woolmer case
by govind dujari on Jun 12, 2007 10:59 PM  | Hide replies

Continuation:-

I am really flabbergasted who is the person or persons whom the Jamaican government is trying to save even at the cost of their sovereignty and reputation. Even the worst form of a dictator like Idi Amin also would have not acted in such deliberate manner. Now there are two possibilities that Bob Woolmer%u2019s widow must be feeling now. Either she would find some sort of comfort that her husband died a natural death and he was not murdered or feel tormented that the real culprit is still roaming scot-free. Our sympathies are with Mrs. Bob Woolmer. I don%u2019t know if Bob Woolmer is taking turns in his grave because of the turn of events in his murder case. But one thing is sure that Indian or any other cricket team or any individual must think twice before heading for Jamaica. It is unfortunate that we are living in a world that constitutes a country like Jamaica.

Bob Woolmer case
by govind dujari on Jun 12, 2007 10:57 PM  | Hide replies

Imran is absolutely right by asking PCB to sue the Jamaican police for defamation. I wonder how can the Jamaican police declare Bob Woolmer%u2019s death as natural and make the mockery of a sensational case that has been making headlines almost everyday. It is surprising that Jamaican police took more than 75 days to arrive at this fantastic conclusion. It means investigations by Mark Shields and two other sleuths from the Scotland Yard along with many officers of the Jamaican police, the British laboratory that conducted toxicology tests and the circumstantial evidence on the spot were all wrong and someone on the top in the Jamaican police decided to close the case by declaring it a natural death. This is a blatantly shameless act. I wonder if the Jamaican authorities are at all worried about their reputation and integrity? At first, I was under impression that Mark Shields was notorious for %u201Cshielding%u201D criminals but now I am surprised since he is now one of the many who is also in the firing line because of %u201Cmishandling%u201D the case. I had earlier sent a suggestion for Mark Shields, who clearly seemed to work under pressure from the higher authorities to shield someone very influential, to quit the job if he had any self-respect and integrity and cared for his reputation as the former super sleuth from the Scotland Yard. Just see how he has become laughingstock before the world. Nobody is now going to offer him the job of even a constable. I am really flabbergasted who is the pers

imran is wrong, the jamaican police only opined what might have happened. whats wrong with interrogation ? imran is only voicing a part of pakistan. remember he's a politician now.

the jamaican authorities might have learnt it the hard way, they ought to buy the manual from the sub-continent "how to coverup, for dummies"

forget our teams' debacle... woolmer's death is a bigger event. right through the case - things have shifted so many times, so many conflicting reports from every agency including that of jamaican police. it looks like a proper coverup. the delay is the usual way to remove the incident out of public memory.
