why aren't u in hurry for the coach.. do you want to wait till the last moment and face the same situation as before.... if you are serving indian cricket properly then why don't you hire a coach in profesional manner and why dont you listen (rather act) to ex-cricketer's suggestions regarding improvement of infrastructure at domestic level... its fine that you cant recognize ICL but why dont you hire 2 big players for each ranaji team so that our young players can take some tips from them........i know state associations should do that but why dont you help them with some money to get two players each for their teams....... BCCI being richest board/club in world, why cant you hire support staff like England they have bowling coach like Allan donald, batting like andy flower, then head coach etc.... we have just hired Venktesh prasad and robin singh what about batting coach/or head coach...... venktesh is doing great job i agree but we should hire one very experienced bowling coach and let venktesh work as assistant bowling coach for 2 years and then you can give venktesh full charge.... as we need to work on bowlers...... thats why we should have two coaches for that one venktesh and one like Donald, McGrath, Wasim Akram,Walsh or any great bowler ( i know great player dont always become great coaches but great bowlers can definitely teach lot to youngesters)......... dont you see what happened to Irfan Pathan, munaf patel...... these two hurt most as one lost swing and other

Mr Shah, be assured nobody will agree to coach your Circus (Cricket) Team. The more u be lenient in handling stuffs like Tendulkar, Ganguly, Harbhajan, Sehwag & Yuvraj, the more u will be a laughing stock in the eye of the entire world.
Please read the list below for the list of the members of the BCCI.
Mr Sharad Pawar (President) (IS A MARATHI) Mr Niranjan Shah (Secretary) (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Ranbir Singh Mahendra (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Rajiv Shukla (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Chirayu Amin (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Ranga Reddy (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Rajsingh Dungerpur (NOT A MARATHI) Mr C.K. Khanna (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Gautam Dasgupta (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Jyoti Bajpai (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Jagmohan Dalmiya (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Inder Singh Bindra (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Arun Jaitley (NOT A MARATHI) Mr S. Karunakaran Nair (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Ranbir Singh Mahendra (NOT A MARATHI) Mr N. Srinivasan (NOT A MARATHI) Mr N Subba Rao (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Ratnakar Shetty (NOT A MARATHI) Mr Bibhuti Das (NOT A MARATHI) Mr.Lalit Modi (NOT A MARATHI)
The way BCCI works is that there are 27 Ranji Trophy teams and total of 5 zones.
Election is held to all those via secret ballot and a person to lead BCCI needs to get elected from these 27 Ranji Trophy commmities and also the 5 zones.
Then you become the President of the BCCI.
The BCCI itself has a list of members.
How could so many Non marathis sit idle in BCCI and let continue Sharad Pawar as President ?
Unless they vote he was not elected obviously.
Hence next time you vommit your dirty anti marathi talk do read this post.
Sharad Pawar is simply playing with the BCCI and future of the players. He is a full fledged politician and has no experience of cricket administration and management. BCCI is I think the most cash rich cricket boards in the world and he has occupied the position in BCCI simply for making money.
The whole world is laughing at us.
During the tenure of Mr. Jagmohan Dalmia, things were not that bad. Atleast, captain,players,coach,phisio,team-spirit everything was in order. The activities of BCCI was not in headlines every day.
Bring back Jagmohan Dalmia as he is the only person who has the cricket administrative experience which is also proved.

Dalmia didn't fix matches. And at least during his tenure BCCI didn't look like a circus company. Under Sharad Pawar BCCI should be renamed MCA - Mumbai Cricket Association.
Throw these politicians out (Gavaskar included). Turn BCCI into a LLC (limited liability company) and appoint Kapil Dev as salaried President and Mohinder Amarnath CEO.

Who were the President and PM of India during that time? They should be blamed too and so should be the UN... according to your logic...
