Yahoo... India can win the WC in near future ...
When the guys trained by Great Chappal will feature in Australian team , India will be able beat them to dust ... First time I have seen that a CANCER like chappel is being graciously accepted by Cricket Australia. He will teach more and more underarm bowling and politics to the youngsters.

Dear Mr.Roy,
I don't know why you hold such extreme views for Mr.Chappel. He had made a presentation, the Board liked it, and then he was taken as Coach by the BCCI. He never forced himself on us. He tried to improve the performance of the Team India in his own ways. Everyone brings his own way of teaching/coaching. He tried to make the players to play under different circumstances which means they will be more flexible, and talks straight with the players, irrespective of seniors or juniors, when they don't perform well. The WC performance blame should be shared by all the team members, and not by Chappel alone. U must understand that he blongs to a family of great cricketers, and has captained the Australian team, he was a great batsman of his time. It is a pity that Team India was not able to pick up much from his skills, and knowledge about Cricket. Plain talking should not be construed as 'politics'
Team India should come out of 'I am God' thinking, learn to respect/obey the Coach's suggestions/teachings, if at all they want to improve their performance consistently.

Good luck to team India.

Dear Sandip,
Sehwag has not played an innings of worth after his 300 in Pak. Harbhajan very rarely win matches for India these days. Pathan, after the initial promise, has not progressed much. Why do you put the blame for all these on the Coach? A teacher will be as effective as the effectiveness of the student. The student must be willing to work hard, practice whatever has been taught day and night, to come up. Therefore the players also have the same amount of responsibility like the Coach. Mr.Chappel wanted Mr.Ganguly to be a pure batsman only, and not a Captain, so that he can concentrate more on his batting. It is paying lot of divident now, as Mr.Ganguly is amongst runs now-a-days. He wanted more flexibility in the batting order by rotating players in different positions, wanted better fielding, quick running between wickets to milk more runs, etc. which are perfectly all right. You will see Australians will do much better under Mr.Chappel, b'coz they are serious students, wanting to learn more, and play better. This is the basic difference between them and us, my dear gentleman.

Dear Sandeep,

Dav Whatmore won the WC for Srilanka during his coaching tenure with the SL team. He couldn't achieve the same with Bangladesh inspite of coaching them for over 4 years. It clearly shows that it all boils down to the raw material, i.e. the players. The finished product depends upon the quality of the raw maaterial only. I am sure Mr.Chappel will do well in Australia, because the players there listen to him, respect his views, and try sincerely to implement his coaching, which was sadly lacking here.

With best wishes,
V.Srinivasan.

Very well said Mr. Iyer. When we were in school we never liked a strict teacher. Discipline is never a criteria in our sub-continent which the Aussies uphold. We will always blame not alone Greg am sure Ford is going to meet the same fate.

Akhir Australia WC le hi gayi..Kyunki AUS ki taraf se unka coach jo bheja gaya tha India ko coaching karne..Are baba seekhane ke liye nahin ulta india ko deemak ki tarah khokhla karne ke liye.Rahul Dravid aur BBCI jo uske puppets ban chuke the aur kya karte,Australia country ka plan chal gaya aur India jeet sakte the woh sapna sapna hi bankar reh gaya.Kya karen humlog ko abhi bhi ghulam banke rehne ki aadat jo pad gayi hai..

australian board promised Chappell, if brings Indian team down to the dust,he will be offered a lucrative post in australia,,that was suggested to me long back when Ganguly was first dropped,,but I stood against that,,as a man of Chappells stature would not betray anyone,,but one looks at it without second thought,,just see-aperson has failed at such a level, still being given such a lucrative post WHY????/ HOW??????

Dear Rakesh,

We dont progress well in all walks of life typically because of feelings that is expressed in your note.

We always try to play emotional, secretive, stab behind the back, suspecting people, ego clashes, trying to put the blame for our failures on others. A thorough professional on the other hand will try to analyse why inspite of having the best qualified coach, why I couldn't perform well? and then will try to rectify himself and improve his performance. Instead of thinking on these lines, we feel happy to put the blame on Mr.Chappel and then take rest!

With best wishes,
V.Srinivasan.

Hopefully his performance will be at par with his accomplishments in his last job. He demolished mighty India and hopefully he will be able to vanquish the great Australian team.
