Earlier I had a lot of respect for Whatmore. But the way he dumped Bangladesh for getting the Indian hot seat, I think he had selfish reasons for that. It would have been great if he had renewed the contract with Bangla continued the good work which is only half done yet. Bangla now wins only occasionally but has a lot of potential and can improve a lot further under Whatmore.

Sorry friend, I beg to differ. If you think searching for a new job is dumping the old organisation, then you might have to rethink. When we guys wanna search for a new job, we dont resign first and then start searching for a job.And moreover his contract was getting over with BD, and hence he pitched in for the indian job.He is absolutely right in doing that, and remember this time there is more media pressure and coz of the focus he got, ppl thought he is over eager about the position. I guess it is the same old policitics which happens in BCCI, for some reason gavaskar didnt like him, so in fact he was dumped by BCCI.

This is the true status of BD. Whatmore is not interested in coahing BD coz he knows that whatever fulke win in WC will not be repeated. BD SA match was fixed.
