No matter u r a very good Test batsman, but u should not forget that just before world cup Eng won the Tri nation series under Flintoff, apart from that u r not at all a oneday player and i am wondering how u become a captain, u just remember the contriutions from kevin,Andrew and Collingwood in lat two three years, u did nothing for one day and ur inclusion after a long break derailed the team totally in the WC, i hv not remembered any good start from u in this WC,u should step down and rather retire from one day to do Eng well in one dayers, and i respect u as a good test player and i never forget ur mindblowing iningses in test matches and wishing u to continue the same for only test matches and also wish u retire from One dayers which will also make happy of others.

Late realisation

Strange that Vaughan has realised this more than a month after the WC and ironically after he has scored a century.

Yeah, one century against WI and he starts chipping at Flintoff! Reminds me of Ganguly.

Vaughan probably still feels unhappy about being left out from the think-tank during the 2006 Ashes. Personally, I think it was a bad mistake by Fletcher & Flintoff to deny Vaughan any involvement with the team even when they seemed completely devoid of ideas. Vaughan could've contributed a lot in that situation.

I have a feeling that this is Vaughan's way of getting back at Flintoff (although I don't agree with the way he is going about it).

Vaughan was not there when England won most of their game. He came back to the team, the team start loosing. Now he is blaming Fintof.. What a useless man? He forgot Flintof's contribution in Ashes, etc...
I am not saying that Flintof has done good in WC, these type of incidents occurs in Aus also. ponting was also made some scene at a bar some times ago, but Aus are not playing badly.
Vaughan, it is the time to retire u pl...

Very well said. It takes gut and grit to take blame on oneself for the defeat of the team.
Vaughan seems to be dodging from this responsibility... Not a sign of a great Leader!
Flintoff is famous for these off-the-field incidents like Ricky Ponting.
If an incident like this could affect the english team... The probably were not in the best of their mindsets in the first place

all greats like Flintof has a darker side. But that does not affect the play. The scores of 0, 1 ,2 , 3 etc.. by Vaughn has helped England in the World Cup

English team lost under the likes of flintoff or strauss ... vaughan is anyday a more mature and successful captain. btw what has england won when vaughan was out of the team ... nothing of note. vaughan is a class batsman and shrewd captain ... the likes of cricketing minds successful today! Flintoff wants to be a hero ... but for that one must be consistent ... like pieterson ... i hope you'll agree to that?
