Appointment of the chief coach for Cricket India.
by cajetan coelho on Jun 06, 2007 07:17 PM

Many among us feel that former greats like Jimmy Amarnath, Sandy Patil, Anshuman Gaekwad or Balwinder Singh Sandhu look good candidates for the top job. There has to be a talented assistant to the chief coach. The assistant could be from Australia, England, South Africa or elsewhere. The Indian think-tank looks capable of doing their job well this time.

Indian Cricket Coach

You may choose anybody as coach.after all the cricketers have to go out and play.i am sure greg chapell did not teach the boys to \'hang their bat out to balls outside the offstump.\'
why can\'t mr.gavaskar give the batting video\'s of himself, vishy and vengsarkar in their heydays and tell the boys to learn from them with his tips ????
and also keep arunlal to calculate the run rate for onedayers ???(he was the master of this art only sometime back!!!

they play dirty politics
by satbir singh on Jun 05, 2007 11:30 AM  | Hide replies

indian players play dirty politics to even choose a coach they look for someone who keep them at ease rediculous. i think they not be entertaines / listen and their should not be taken into serious consideration but this is what indian cricket is all abut. dirty politics ia all over. they want mone and winning or loosing never means to them at all wat they want is huge amount and they feel happy of being called as the brand ambassadors of multinational company's. cricket is always their secondary choice......

when the board itself has a bunch of politicians who play politics, what more you expect from the players? they are part and parcel of ther system where politics has more place than real true cricket game.

You guys should get a grip. Tell me one thing in reality where there is NO politics. Wherever you go in this damn planet there is politics. With so..o much money in Indian cricket and BCCI there is bound to be politics for sure.

Vaibhav Bakhare
Coach of Indian team
by Vaibhav Bakhare on Jun 05, 2007 11:15 AM

I think, what ever the decision is to be taken, its should be a very thoughtful, and not merely to fill up the vacancy. As this person will only be the coach till next worldcup, and with this point of view, the board should consider it.Even if takes 2-3 months more to get the right person.
