Dead Man Walking

Bob Woolmer with his lethal combination of morbid obesity, severe hypertension ,coronary artery disease and diabetes mellitus was a walking time bomb ready to explode anytime and thats exactly what happened. People with lesser risk factors than Bob drop dead every single day.

The poison theory was injected to explain lack of struggle by Big Bob at the scene, yet lacked any toxicology support.

The theory that alleged killers were sophisticated enough to import poison; were able to slip tasteless, colorless, untraceable poison(a perfect poison, which is a myth;Don't try it)into Bob's drink, yet were stupid enough not to put enough poison to kill him instead elected to incapacitate him, then returned to the scene of crime to finish him off,yet again botched up the strangling job and left him alive since according to Police report Bob Woolmer was found unconscious in the hotel room and he died in the hospital. All these bizarre theories simply defied common sense.

Jamaica Policea acted professionally by keeping all options open once they were told by pathologist that there was likelihood of a murder, yet acted competently by obtaining a second opinion before charging anyone.

Since pathologist's opinion was not supported by second opinion, does not mean he acted in a bad faith. To err is human.

Regardless, all is well that ends well.
Shanti

this whole thing stinks of a coverup. there's big money, big players involved, nothing else. its too suspicious. its been long drawn out. and ICC is totally corrupt.

So sad Satya, that you had bought the story by the jamaican police! its all crystal clear that they have been "bought"! by those bigwigs! The same shields once said he is 100% sure that Bob was murdered! and later the same shileds took long leave and went off! Another pathologist Dr.Nat says bruices on neck is due to post mortem! how many post mortems does he do like that!!!?which leaves strangulation marks on neck?

All these are games to save some "influential" people! and sad that people are doubting the credentials of efficient and sincere people like sheshaiah!

I am not supporting or blaming anyone, but if you follow the whole episode one will understand what is this game all about!

Ramesh

Dear Mr. Ramesh
Yes, I did follow it carefully. Very initially that Dr. Sheshiah said he was not sure and it is confusing. That time itself he would have asked for second opinion as asking for second opinion is not against the law but it is usually followed in such difficult and/or high profile cases. We should not support Dr. Shehsiah just because he is from India. People like Sheshiah goes abroad by hook or crook by producing false certificates etc. And see now his incompetent nature only put him in trouble.

The investigation is led by group from different backgrounds not solely by Jamaican or by Scotland yard police. And we have been seeing there are no official reports all these days from authorities but only by speculations in the media. The police were breaking their heads to find out the clue based on Sheshiah's report.

Hey Styanarayana, Your analysis is totally wrong. First of all, people who go abroad by hook or crook do not reach the levels of doing the type things that Shesiah did. Second, he clearly said his report is inconclusive. At that time he was severly criticised. Now it seems his conclusion was correct. Third it is not burden to ask for a second test.It is thew investigating officers decision. Fourth how can you say that the Brithish pathologist was correct. This again shows your inferior mentality.

gross injustice to the people who they treated as suspects

It is sad that investigations are handled so sloppily. The pakistani team who was already under so much pressure for losing, would have got nightmares after this.

Sad that this had to happen.
