Sreesanth's onfield behaviour
by Jomesh George on Aug 02, 2007 08:18 PM  | Hide replies

Sreesanth is the proud of every keralite. After the great performance of PT Usha in the 1986 Seoul Asiad it was Sreesanth's match winning performance in South Africa that was so heavily celebrated by media and public in Kerala. But same time what I want to tell him is to cool down his emotions and behave in a manner suitable for cricket a gentleman's game.

It is pity that he is focussing his energies on showing antics, rather than bowling well and taking wickets. If he continues these antics not backed by performance, he will be thrown out of the team. He is much hyped bowler who has had couple of really good performances (like in SA) but very incosistent and he easily looses focus. He has a long way to go before he could be considered great, so he should stop acting like a joker and concentrate more on winning games for India

ICC umpires never fined Glen Mcgrath, Andre Nel and Shaun Pollock when they physically abused batsman. It is always a subcontinent player, especially an Indian who gets fined most of the time.

Good. Everytime he hit for four he unnecessarily using that four letter word. That is not at all necessary. Learn from west indies pace bowlers( particularly from Malcolm Marshall) Whenever he hit for four or six, the nest ball will be a bouncer. This Australians spoiled the gentleman's game by doinf sledging. This is called aggression now.

sreesanth should be selected

all these anti-sreesanth guys must either be pakis or mad people. he bowled 33 overs in the match for 76 runs, that is hardly being hit all over the field. poor kumble had a much worse day than him, giving vaughan so many free hits. all that talk about his beamer is just rubbish, i am sure it slipped and if he did it purposely very very good. nobody gives a shit about the spirit about the game, otherwise matt prior would keep his mouth shut like dhoni!! vaughan, pietersen and collingwood all had to be dismissed twice, where was the spirit of the game then.
it was a great test match, zaheer was exceptional, rp singh was great, sreesanth bowled well in patches and kumble was completely off colour in the second innings.
all you guys who want too punish sreesanth for being aggresive should be sent to bat against england and see how their players treat indians!!

Good man i appreciate your feeling and thinking.whtever sreesanth done was good n its good for the indian team, bcoz all know we are the team of cool people but we should not be alwys n pace bowler must have some agreessions, else they cant take the wickets or cant fear tht batsman.
