one of them has bungled, and looking at the BCCI history, i'd say the BCCI might have bungled. but without blaming either parties, both could have settled the matter properly, or ford should state the reason if he wanted the post badly, why did he letgo ?

BCCI is very unprofessional in each and every aspect of game.how well settle coach will join for one year contract.The attitude they are showing against ICL is also unfortunate.They don't want any competition at all.This unfortunate for game of cricket.BCCT should be run by professionals.

I think it was simply a matter of security concerns for his family members at the wake of Woolmer's death/murder. If you make it out to be anything more than that you are a fool!
Test Matches should be banned.One Day matches should gradually be replaced by Twenty-twenty matches.5days or One day are too long periods to be wasted by people.Why not the time period of play is alike most other games.

i dont see your point. its the one day matches that people are crazy about. you ever see people piling up near any tv shop during a test match ? if indians want to be more productive, they have to stop watching cricket and start working. why ban a game ? banning is the usual solution in india for everything.

Movie industry generates millions of jobs and so is Cricket. It does generate 1000s of jobs and soon it is going to be industry by itself.

Mr.Bijoy Nanda, You are still living in dark ages where everything was regulated. Who the hell are you to ban the game? If you do not like it, dont watch it, no one is forcing you watch. According to your logic the next thing would be to say that only 5 over per team games be allowed or better still replace cricket with gilli danda.

oh please!the 'useless' laxman made a half century playing with tailenders yesterday. azhar and jadeja are history. dhoni should be dropped and yuvi should be given a chance. kartik can keep wickets.
Indians can do wonders if they pay at least half the attention to other sports than cricket!Even media in india...what a scrap piece of article... Second most populated country in the world...no better performance in sports than Bangladesh... I feel ashamed to be an indian!! Cricket lovers however dont bother these things becos they are like frogs in the well.

every game has an apex body like BCCI. like hockey has IHF. The problem is that BCCI could market cricket in India but no other body was able to do the same. The IHF has been consistently working in autocratic manner dropping good players at will. look at the treatment meted out to pillay. tirkey etc. no game can progress unless there is a strong marketing backup. Look at Football and Rugby in england. they have overtaken cricket by a mile due to great marketing. This can only be achieved by participation of corporates in the sports.
