joining the icl
by on Jul 30, 2007 02:12 PM

I don't there is any problem with icl b'coz bcci don't have a good administration & not providing the results the conntry watns from the game b'coz our people don't take this game as a game they take it as a religion so bcci people must look for the country man's feeling.
if cricket's going to joining the icl there is no problem with it. Because every one is think's money if they think;s for it what's bad in it.
All of our crickter's know that noting is big from representive their country.
BCCI must have placed some good coach's & official's.

Get ur facts right Mr. Gupta. The players you are talking about left the game when they were at their peak. Unlike Indian Sr. players who are sticking to this game for the sake of money.Great Lara, MacGrath, Warne gave away their position to the younger Generation that's why their is no dearth of good players especially in Australia. With the inclusion of these stalwarts, I am sure that the young crop of indian cricketer would only learn from them.
How do u think the young crop of indian cricketer would learn unless they have somebody of this stature telling them the nuances of this game.It would be good experience for the youngster.

no, they are also doing it because they dont have to spend too much time on cricket. as u know, u need to travel for 10 months of the year if u want to play international cricket. and any player will get thrown out if he wants to play just for 3-4 months of the year internationally. this tournament is only for 2 months and the money is great so thats why they are playing.if they want to play international cricket, they have to play way too much cricket. BTW warne retired ONLY from international cricket. get ur facts straight

all things aside...i think indian young players will benefit tremendously just sharing the dressing room with these greats or playing under them. I think it is a great idea to groom new players. Forget BCCI, lets support ICL team INDIA>

IT's good all senior criketer's to join ICL...but they schould help our young talents..from india..& ICl must keep interest in developing indian cricket...not like BCCI where it alway's think about money....
