Whatever he was..but still Team India misses Sehwag adn especially his flash scores when he goes after the bowling. We really miss sehwag in the opening slot. We could have made Jaffer to sit out for sehwag. Lets c how jaffer scores in todays play.

Piyush chawla took 8 wickets for 70 runs in the match against zimbabwe. More importantly we won a 4 day match. He deserves to be in the team instead of Kumble. Bhajji should retire.

Bhajji want o retire? good joke he is a young guy, Indian team will use bhajji and chawla with bhajji in the team, earlier like kumble and bhajji. he is good spinner. Bhajji, Sehwag & Pathan, the great players will lose the form in the chppels wrong attitude of coaching. So they all retain their form and come back to team strongly and play for India for a long time. Its the good to retire( Sachin, Sourav, Kumble and laxhman)

Taking 8 wickets against ZIMBABWE is not a great achievement. Piysuh will have to take more FIFERS agacinst Australia , South Africa and Sri Lanka to challenge KUMBLE
Seriously, the way the writer has kept repeating the words reminder in the article, it is pretty obvious just where his sympathies lie. And just a couple of county performances can hardly be a benchmark in this case. Bhajji needs to work hard, and long, before he can be reconsidered, in my opinion. Just as he was persisted with for too long, it would be foolhardy to rush to include him so quickly.

I don't rate the county players too much against spin bowling.Neverthless, it's a good morale booster for Harbhajan. B'coz I think he can contribute to the Indian success in one day game.
Harbhajan has survived in indian team for six years after one solitary performance against australia in the year 2000. Please tell me at least one good performance apart from the year 2000 and you will find none. Bhajji is very similar to Karishma Kapoor in this sense. No performance and lot of hype. It's good that selectors have discarded him and given opportunity to others. Just because he has taken four wickets does not me he should be picked up immediately for the indian team.LEt him perfom consistantly for a season, then only he should be considered for the indian team.

Much better to be in news for performance than for Tax fraud, hiding assets & claiming rebates for luxurious items like Ferrari, playing for records not for team. Please dont evaluate Sachin too by his performances against Bangladesh as a quality player against England now.

that may not be the cas. he has taken 255 odd wickets in 50 or so games.he took averagly five wickets per match. that shows he is still a classy performer. rightnow he needs a break like shewag

Harbajan is waste for odi's and in test matches also he is better in home not out side the county.He is never a match wineer in odi's puysh chawals is beteer than harbajan
