Let them take Munaf the most unfit of the medium pace bowlers. This guy is just 24 and cannot play one series without injury. He was supposed to the quickest bowler but during the last 18 months I have not seen him bowl more than 135kph, his average being 130kph. He seems to have sacrified speed for accuracy and now he lost both. There is no need for such unfit bowlers in Indian team.

we really need a tearaway fast bowler. Munaf was acclaimed as fastest by Lilee 3-4 yrs.back. but thnx to Chappel, Munaf lost his speed for accuracy. Hope his stint with MRF again, wud hv improved his speed

Chappel was sent for these all things. He affected Many Players. Irfan Pathan, The Best Upcoming Cricketer (Wisden) and All Rounder. Munaf Patel, Fastest Bowler, Suresh Raina, Most Promising Middle Order (even Wisden said this). He was taken especially for World Cup and in all his plans he mentioned considering Plan for WC. Worst Ever World Cup of India............. What did he do ??????????

an ausi was hired by bcci and hugely funded also. he came here with the sole intention of ruining the chances of india (then-the main hurdle of Ausy on their way to WC) in WC 2007. In the guise of experimenting for WC victory, he made all trial and errors, effecting changes in batting order, etc. during the pre-WC matches so as to convert all performers into non-performers like Viru, Pathan, Bhajji. he divided the team, made their self-confidence to their lowest. in the end, he got victories neither for pre-WC matches nor in the WC. He succeeded in his mission for destroying team and still was offered consultancy by BCCI!!!!

Not fair. Remember, this guy comes from a very poor family. He may have not got the right nutrition at the time he grew up. Maybe the board should have him properly assessed. He is definitely a fine prospect. To have him at his best would mean that there is some serious competition for the bowling slots. This is only to India's good. Actually the bowling looks promising. Zaheer is bowling superbly, RP Singh and Sreesanth are giving good support. But Sreesanth needs to discipline himself. Irfan Pathan is on the comeback trail. I'd love to know about Ashish Nehra and L Balaji. Then you have Ishant Sharma and Ranadeb Bose, who are touring with the Indian team.Agarkar still has something left in the tank. VRV Singh could be seriously considered for Australia, considering the lift he gets.Ramesh Powar is an unknown quantity.Harbhajan will also be fighting hard. Finally you have 'Jumbo' who possibly has a year or two left. The bowling looks OK.Its the batting we have to worry about.Only Yuvraj looks to be a serious contender and he is not a good player of spin.Sehwag could lend strength to the middle order. But otherwise,we need to look seriously for replacements for the Four Musketeers, Tendulkar, Ganguly, Dravid and Laxman

n start bowling really fast as u r supposed to. and dont fall to the advice/tantrums of the ex-coach Chappel who has destroyed ur pace.
