Its a trend to kiss ass of former greats(currenyly playing with the help of their previous records)they used to do that to Endulkar a lot. In 2001 when Bhajji chucked his way to 32 wickets against Aussies he credited Endulkar for it saying "Uske Haath me Jaadoo Hain"(he has magic in his hands)now what the heck Sachin did for Bhajji to chuck 32 wickets in that series.
This is a way to show ur polite and also try to gain the support of that player..
Simply dont praise somebody even if he has not done anything. Simply he belongs to some particular region that may be yours, you are praising sreesanth. He has done nothing in the match except getting some tailenders who otherwise also would have been out.

From the first ball, Indian batsmen have been playing to defend and to show stickers on their bats. None of them tried to score positively so that bowlers have a chance. We can get inspiration from unexpected quarters and there is nothing wrong if Sree asked himself that if a slow bowler like Ganguly can take a wicket.. why can not he? But if a Test player comes to know about where to bowl only after some non regular bowler has taken a wicket.. something is wrong somewhere. Venky is getting his big pay and regular Indian bowlers have to learn things this way....
