Mr. Radhakrishnan JI , I mean to say that Why india favourite , in any game both teams has 50 - 50 chance to win the match. The only thing matters is that one who perform under crunch situation is the winner. And could you please enlight me what has India done under crunch/crucial situation??

If there is going to be a result and lot of time left after the 4 innings get over than India is definatly favourate, unless strass or Peterson score huge scores.
indians r chokers in all conditions.they bring shameful defeats to nation and that too at that time when they can easily pull off things! SNATCHING DEFEATS FROM THE JAWS OF VICTORY. all the big guys viz. gavaskar ,borde. vengsarkar, shastri,et al have arrived in london and r busy eith their own money making activities.nothi ng to do with team india.but once india will falter in tests they ll start cursing the taem like anything in their commentary as well as n their columns articles.this happens when the team is under crisis and r going on withoy coach.instaed of lamenting the team they can at least guide the present team.anybody listening?

Nehra, Balaji are unfit. Agarkar is unlucky to get a place in test side.

I feel Agarkar should have been in the side in place of RP singh. Unlucky !!!
By the time Indian team gets used to the conditions and the opposition we usually have already lost the series. Then there will be some face saving knock by our superheroes, but thats it. Dont expect any match winning performances.
There are three passengers in the Indian XI if it keeps out Yuvraj and Dhoni. They are VVS Laxman, Wasim Jaffer, and Saurav Ganguly. The bowlers are still erratic, watching the number of extras from No Balls and Wides. Good Luck to the Squad, nonetheless.
You are clueless. I don't understand how India start as favorites. It's probably clueless people like you who hyped up India's chances in the World Cup as well. England are coming off a 3-0 whitewash of the West Indies. They are playing at home. India have won exactly one test at Lords. India's bowling is not exactly the type that tears apart batting line-ups. This same batting recently won a test match even in India. Kevin Pietersen.
Guys, i'am on a biz visit to England and right now in London!! It is raning in London and the weather is bleak and muggy!! There is no way we will get even four days of cricket! Same story in Nottingham and then back to London for the Oval Test match!! So all 3 tests will be ruined by rain and the series will be a 0-0 draw!!

nobody cares where u r, fool!.i can see no cloud in sky in london right now.i feel u were dreaming in night as the time when u wrote is night time in london
I am sure it is only rediff or some of the media think india is favorite..because even young england bowlers are better than india's best..Zaheer averages around 36 in tests which is useless...and the rest except sreesanth's some promise shown in SA is not even intl class...So india pretty much is left with a Kumble, half bowler zaheer and half a bowler Sreesanth..which makes 2 bowlers in full..so I guess Kumble wil hv to take abt 12-15 out of 20 wkts to win the test match...So much for favorites..
